I would cover but still nurse. I see nothing wrong with choosing not to (either not to cover or not to nurse), but I personally wouldn't do either of those.
Personally, I would leave and do it somewhere else. I don't NIP to begin with and would just plan ahead of time to bring a bottle or leave during halftime to nurse. I have no issues with others doing it but I am not comfortable with it.

As much as I want to normalize NIP, doing it in front of students I teach/people I work with is where I draw the line. But I'd do it there and just cover.

I do it in front of CWs all the time. I was in the school all the time during maternity leave. Really, it's just the students i care about. Although, I wouldn't care if they were strangers, kwim?
What should you do? Feed your baby however you would anywhere else.
What would I do? Nurse him in my car. I know...totally NOT necessary, but it would be for my comfort, not others. Soon baby will become more easily distracted and pop on and off at random times. I'd be nervous that would happen while I was talking to a parent or student.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
Make nip a slightly less rare thing in your community. I nursed in a room full of high schoolers last night at church and no one said anything.
Yeah, but do you teach those high schoolers?
I'd cover. But I don't see feeding my kid as a crusade/ missionary thing.
I'm a leader (help them memorize Bible verses, etc), so indirectly. I don't get preachy about it, but I'm not going to super inconvenience myself to feed my baby. If I left everytime he needed to eat, I wouldn't get to volunteer. I wouldn't take my baby to school and nurse during a lecture, but a football game is a casual environment.
It would depend on the seating for me. DS was a slow eater. Sitting on hard metal bleachers with no back support (while nursing)? Pass.
Whoever is around is around. Theoretically they're watching the game or involved in their own social pursuits. I would probably wear a hoodie with a zipper and use that cover any of my exposed-ness without covering baby (my kids fought full body against having their heads covered).

I guess I don't see a cover as a super inconvenience.
I just get so hot under a cover and to me they are just uncomfortable. I feel like I constantly have to fuss with it and it gets tangled with my hair.
I dress in a cami with a looser shirt over, so there really isn't skin showing. I'm also not large chested, si there isn't much to show. If I had a different body type, I might feel different.
I would have probably left and nursed in the car. Maybe if I was really brave I would have nursed under a cover for the top of the stands (above everyone) i have nursed in front of coworkers but they are adults. I feel like high schoolers are not adults and it would be weird to me. I hate that that is answer because i am all about nip and normalizing it.
I don't nurse in front of coworkers. I'm OK with that line.
This is my line as well. I have NIP all over the place, but I will not do it at work or work functions. I do not think I would nurse in front of high school students I taught.
