The past two nights DD has woken up at 3:30 and I haven't been able to fall back to sleep once I get her back down. This is going to be a very long day.
N is still sleeping. Of course, this happens on a morning when I couldn't sleep in.
I realize now, the day of the shower, that the gift I got my cousin is kind of boring. 2 boxes of diapers, a case of wipes, 4 bottles of babyganics washes/creams, and a pair of bamboobies. She registered for all of it and I know it's all stuff she'll need. I did, however, only spend like $50 on all of it combined, so that is a win!
After a super stressful week alone with the baby for long, monotonous days H went to Target last night for more gas drops for B. He came home with a new iphone for me to show his appreciation. I was totally surprised. Then he slept on the floor of the baby's room to wake up with her and give her a bottle of pumped BM so I could sleep for 4 hours uninterrupted. I married up
C did that thing we don't talk about, and then went back down and is still sleeping at 7:15am! The effing animals woke me up, despite my amazing sleeping baby. Anyone want a dog and a cat?
I am having a party at my house tonight. I'm looking forward to it! And the house cleaner is coming today so it's really nice to not even have to clean much for it.
Have fun! I love hosting parties at my house. And huge bonus not having to clean!

My H reinjured his back (herniated disc) and I KNOW that he is in pain. But I'm sofaking PISSED because he doesn't do SHIT to take care of the kids when he is like this. He just lays around and moans. I WANT SOME HELP GOD DAMN IT.
Need to bathe DS and shower myself to head out to the football game! Neither of us are really "fans" but it's the hometown team and tailgating is always fun!
My H just left to go fishing for the morning, so it's dd and I. She's still sleeping, and hopefully stays that way for a while. Wait, as I typed that a big truck drove by and woke her up. Damn it!
There was some big UFC fight in Japan overnight. DH stayed up to watch it and came to bed around 3:30. Guess this means he's going to sleep all day? Hmm. I'm on hour 2 alone/entertaining DS while also tidying up the house and getting ready for a house guest this week. Hopefully DH wakes up soon or we may have to go "visit" daddy!
I am sitting under a dryer getting my hair highlighted. Next is my cut. Two inches, perhaps? DD is at my parents' house and I gave DH a free morning. I hope remembers I did this. I'll remind him lol.
Mine woke up at 5:30 forEVER. He's 7 months now and just starting to sleep until 6 or even 6:30! Not sure how old yours is, but hopefully young and there's hope yet!
H worked overnight, and he's working all day today. (Two different jobs; he is able to sleep some on the overnight shift.) M and I survived our first night alone!
DH is working for the next 24 hours, so it's just a sick DS and me. My aunt is willing to take DS for a couple of hours do I can get some errands done in peace.
I don't want to take advantage of her offer, but I think if I shop quickly, I might have time for a pedi. I'm going to run around Stop & Shop like I'm on Supermarket Sweep!
DH is spending all day out with friends but went and got me a doughnut and coffee before he left. awesome. now the baby is napping and i'm eating my doughnut, drinking coffee and watching food network in peace. this is a perfect saturday morning to me.
J was up twice last night and then up for the day 1 hr and 15 minutes early.
I'm sure she'll find a reason to sleep until 7:30 when it's DH's turn to get up with her tomorrow.
A friend from college is in town and we're hanging out this afternoon. I was going to hit the farmer's market but I think I might just crawl back into bed during J's nap instead. Yawn.

I need someone to kick my ass into gear, please.
I lost all the "baby weight", then gained back about 15 lbs of it. I am not happy with how I look. At all. I feel like crap most of the time. I used to run, but I haven't since I got pregnant with A. We're talking about TTC starting in January, and I really don't want to be this weight when we do. But I'm also exhausted all the time (I know, lame excuse) and I've used that as an excuse to be lazy. I just need to stop and I need to start counting calories again and I don't want to. What I really need is a dietician to just tell me what to eat.
This post has no point, I'm just whining. lol. Brought to you by the fact that we have pictures tomorrow and I am dreading them.

She is 5 months! Glad to hear she might stretch her sleeping eventually!
H is working 72+ hour weeks on this rotation. (7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, but sometimes he's there past 7.) It sucks. I'm counting down until this rotation ends. Nine more work days! Next month will be far more sane, with 40-50 hour weeks and weekends off.

We picked apples this morning and now DD is napping. I should be cleaning but instead I'm sitting. We are going to see some friends and their 5 month old twins today. Please let DD have gentle hands.
I just went upstairs to get E up from a nap to find him wearing a size 3-6 month shirt and size 6 month pants. He looked so funny. At least my husband tried, I guess.

DH is being a twat today and basically called off being a parent for today. I already got pissed at him and now he's just sitting on the couch and everyone is avoiding him. So now I feel like hell and have to care for 2 kids all by myself. I may double up on pain meds.
