My boss. Not me. She's doing ironman MD today and maintained 20 mi/hr on the bike and is currently running sub 9 min miles through mile 3. I know she wants to go sub 11hrs. Crazy.
That is still just an amazing time. Wow! There are a bunch of Team Chocolate Milk athletes doing Maryland that I've been following, and it looks like some fast times of this course. One athlete I'm following had a DNF her first try, so I'm still tracking & really hoping she makes it tonight. This IM spectating stuff is so nerve-wracking even via the Internet.
Damn!! Can you get some feedback from her on the race? It's on my list for consideration. I think the bike is flat to rolling hills like I'm used to?
I will. She took off this week so it might be awhile. I know she has said it is flatter than flat. Which could be good in some sense. She lucked out with weather. Since It's by the water it can be super windy. Also September in MD can be hot and humid and the course has no shade.
