I want to run a half marathon. I have my eye on one in mid- January.
Here's where I'm at: I current run (slowly) some. I can run continuously for like 15 min at this point. I have to do most of my weekend running with a double stroller just because of my husbands work schedule.
Is this goal ridiculous? If not, where do I start for training?
I will add that I could probably do the half right now, but that would include lots of walking and I really want to run the whole thing.

I agree, totally doable. I agree with HH recommendations as well. I just did the intermediate plan for my first half marathon, if I was you I would look into the novice 1 or 2 plan. You have about a month before you would start a 12 week plan so you can easily build up to 3 miles between now and then. Also when you start running longer distances, try running for almost a mile then walking for .1 miles then running the next mile, that's how I trained for most of my half and ran a majority of it.
