I didn't take a pic, but if I did, it would have been rows and rows of teenagers on ellipticals. I did my strength workout in the campus gym and the students must be back. The lovely months of non crowded gym time are over until the kiddos lose interest.
Not a ton of color yet, although there was a little on the grapevines. But my post run dinner was amazing... Portobellos and bleu cheese. It's h&f cuz of the grilled veggies and red wine, right?

Yesterday's workout view was out the window of the cardio room at the gym, which overlooks suburban traffic. Today's view was the wall of my basement, lol. I plan to check out a new trail later this week, so maybe I'll have some scenic photos then.

beautiful fall photos! 8th month of pregnancy has me exhausted....I made it to the gym today after over 2 weeks of avoiding it....changed....looked in my bag....and realized my shoes were at home in my closet. FAIL. will reattempt tomorrow.
I had the most incredible 10 miles with my sister this morning here in Edinburgh.
Stared out at Edinburgh castle , down through cobblestone city streets of old town, past a house that was built in fucking 1490, got to a giant open space around sunrise to run past little lochs with big beautiful swans, past giant looming crags and the ruins of a 15th century chapel. It was one of the most amazing runs of my life.

It's fall? South Alabama didn't get the memo.
DH, sis and I rode over to New Orleans for a 5K. There was supposed to be a medal, but super-fast sis was the only one of us that got one. And all the food was gone too. But hey, at least I got to run in a race, and had my 3rd fastest 5K even though I had to stop running after 28 minutes.
And for scenery: The pre race entertainment - Dancing Elvises:
I'm lousy at this game. I'm always in such a hurry on my bike commute to either get into the office or get home before it gets (too) dark that I forget to dig my phone out of my bag to take a picture. But I swear the sunset was beautiful tonight!
