Sorry if this is a common thread; if so, please point me in the right direction!
I have two friends running the Baltimore marathon. One will be doing her 31st marathon, and her second during this pregnancy (the other was Boston). She's super fast and her nickname at running group (according to osulori) is "3:30 Katie." She's awesome and I'd love to do a pregnancy-related sign (e.g. "RUNNING FOR TWO").
The other is running the third half of her life, and has worked so unbelievably hard to get here. She's recently diagnosed with PCOS (and its associated infertility) and metabolic syndrome. She is a brilliant, compassionate woman, and I am so proud of her. She's Mormon, if that helps.
Any ideas? I've never made marathon signs before and I'm really excited!
If your friend doesn't mind a little crass humor, I think "run like a mother" is funny.
I'm also a Mormon. Our church put on a triathlon recently. The back of our shirts said "Shall run and not be weary" which is part of a scripture. "Faith in every footstep" is a well-known hymn as well.

One of my favorites was a sign saying "I am (Jane's) athletic supporter!"
For your friend who is pregnant you could say "After this, labor should be a breeze!" or "Taking fit pregnancy to a whole new level" or "Just a few more months, er miles!"
That one always makes me laugh like an idiot. Always.
I've been bringing it to races (I also laminated it at school) and it gets a lot of attention from athletes and supporters, along with some blank stares! Lol!
