1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it?
1. 38 weeks tomorrow. 2. Braxton Hicks have gotten stronger the past couple days. I'm hoping that means we're getting close! I've actually felt pretty good this week, which has been nice. 3. Colors are aqua and pink, with mostly birch furniture. As for a theme, um, is elephants, birds, and Star Wars a theme? Lol. 4. Deep clean and organize everything. I've definitely been nesting lately.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? AW - We got a lot done in the nursery this weekend. We put together the crib, set up the glider and a bookshelf, put up new blinds and changed out the ceiling fan hardware, and organized the baby's clothes by size. We also ordered the dresser and nightstand from BRU so hopefully those come in this week.
Also, I have an ultrasound tomorrow. I can't wait to see my little babe! It's been 13 weeks since the anatomy scan, so I'm really excited to see how much he's grown.
Vent - My feet and ankles are swelling almost every day now. We went to a football game on Saturday night and they were so uncomfortable by the end. Icing helps, but I can only do that at night, so I'm forced to embrace the cankles... ugh. I'm glad it'll cool down soon so I'll have an excuse to wear pants and long dresses every day.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? The walls are green and the furniture is espresso. Our bedding is the owl theme from Dwell Studio. I love it, because it's fun and whimsical without being too babyish.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, go for a walk or bike ride with my H to get bagels and coffee, then go to the lake (or ocean, if I wasn't in the midwest) with family and friends, grill out for dinner, then sit around a fire on the beach at night, making s'mores and relaxing.

1. 38w3d 2. Feeling over it. Huge. Baby estimated 8#. (I know these are notoriously inaccurate but it was pretty close with DS!) 3. Pink, grey, orange + elephants 4. Coffee, movie, nap, massage

1. How far along are you this week? 19w4d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Anatomy scan Wednesday! DH can't go, so I'm trying to come up with a gender reveal idea for us. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Not sure yet. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Yoga and spa. No hesitation!
1. How far along are you this week? 22+5 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Baby is moving a little more regularly, which is nice, but I still only mostly feel her when I'm sitting down. I am thankful that I've managed to calm myself down about it. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Turquoise, grey, and white with some natural wood furniture because that's what we have. My dad bought my crib for me
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, go to a diner for breakfast and read a book, then float in a warm pool for a few hours, dinner with a few friends and then a movie or a football game at home under a blanket.

1. How far along are you this week? 31 weeks!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We made a good amount of progress on the nursery this weekend, hung up all of the wall art.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Color schema is aqua with some grey, no real theme, but for artwork we have pictures of lions, owls and elephants.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, go out for a great brunch, then massage, pool time and a fantastic dinner.

1. 37 weeks. 2. I had an appointment on Friday, my OB says I'm 3cm dilated and 80% effaced. I'm excited to have a little head start once labor begins! I have an ultrasound this Friday to estimate baby's size and determine if induction in my 39th week is a good option for me. 3. We kept it mostly the same as it was for DS1, so it's a loose Noah's Ark/animals theme. Nothing too fancy, I'm not much of a decor person. 4. A movie in the morning, then lunch out, followed by a pedicure/shopping and some time at the pool.

1. How far along are you this week? 12w2d
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Had the NT scan, which went well. Phew! I've also started feeling a couple of little movements which are definitely different from gas. I know it's too early, but it's also the 2nd kid, so I guess you feel movements earlier?
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? There isn't one yet. We will wait on gender, but we likely won't do a theme or get a bedding set. Just sheets since it can't use blankets or bumpers anyway (I'm a bad design mom!).
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep. Watch bad daytime tv. Maybe a massage!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week?
Think I had my first run of pregnancy insomnia. Was up at 3am, could not fall back to sleep, then DS2 was up at 4am, brought him into bed with us and he fell back asleep. I fell asleep just before 6am...then DS2 woke up soon after.
Zombie today.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme?
No nursery. Our babies room in with us for the first 6 months to a year.
Just got an arms reach mini cosleeper off eBay that I am very excited about. Wanted one for DS2 but never got around to it.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it?
Where to start. Well, I'd take the first morning flight to London (I live in a British Isles backwater) and spend the day going to the spa, having an awesome brunch, seeing a movie in a real theater (or an afternoon show in the West End), a quick jaunt through the National Gallery and then somewhere great for dinner before the evening flight home.
If I had to stay where I lived it would be sleep in until 8am, read in bed for a bit, morning Crossfit class, meet friends for lunch/brunch, go get a mani-pedi, read in a coffee shop all afternoon, long walk listening to a good podcast, get Thai takeout and eat it in bed while watching a movie. *That's my pregnant version. Not-pregnant I'd want to get smashed in the evening and get to sleep it off the next day.
1. How far along are you this week? 30+3. Holy crap I'm in the 30s!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Had my friends shower yesterday (and my last shower). Got a ton of diapers and wipes! I'm excited to now buy what I need from the registry and spend the next month finishing the nursery.
Dr appt Wednesday but it's a quick check. Then we have our hospital tour Wednesday night which I'm excited for.
Vent: My pelvis is killing me! I didn't even do much this weekend and I hurt all night. It was a struggle to get up to pee. Sometimes I dread that I have 8 weeks to go.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Light gray walls, white furniture, teal accents. I LOVE how it's looking. I'm not into themes and had always planned to do these colors. It's kind of bright but I don't think too busy.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Massage, sleep, pedicure. I'm actually taking this Friday off work. It'll be my last day off before ML. I have a massage scheduled for next week (couldn't get me in Friday). My only plan is to take my mom flowers to work as a thank you for all she's done.

1. How far along are you this week? 11w4d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Excited to be 12 weeks on Thursday! Still dealing with crappy morning sickness (morning and evening!) but am hoping it will start letting up soon. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? We have a 1 bedroom apartment so am hoping to make some sort of baby nook in our room. Still in the planning stages. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, relaxing breakfast and then either a nice run or zumba class. Maybe some shopping? Sewing? Read a nice book. I would love a day just to relax right now.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? None, I'm feeling good and positive about the baby. Feeling her move more and more throughout the day, as opposed to just as night, and DH is starting to think he feels her from the outside too. God, I'm tearing up just thinking about that. This baby is turning me into such a sap!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? None yet, but I did spend the weekend looking at cribs and bedding and am starting to narrow it down little by little, which feels like an accomplishment.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Start with a good workout, maybe hot yoga or a nice run or a great workout class. Go to brunch with some girlfriends. Shop or maybe do a spa treatment, or sew in the afternoon, or just read a really great book. Then have dinner out with DH and we'd come home and snuggle on the couch watching whatever show we're binge watching at that moment.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? H primed the dresser for the nursery this weekend and met with the painter. Hopefully we'll get everything painted in the next few weeks.
Vent: I'm starting to get slightly uncomfortable. My back is hurting and I just don't feel relaxed at all. It's going to be a long 3 months I think.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? We're going to paint the walls a light gray and the furniture is white. The crib skirt is navy chevron, the crib sheet is orange, and the bumper is lime green. There's really no theme, we're just adding different pieces with those colors.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? sleep in, go to the gym, have a lunch that H wouldn't want, maybe do some shopping or get a pedicure and have H make a great dinner

1. How far along are you this week? 18 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'm still not 100% sure if I'm feeling baby or not. I think these little pokes are it, but nothing has been a for sure kick or anything yet. Trying to be patient with this anterior placenta!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? No nursery until we move unfortunately. Baby will just be in our room for about 6 months. I feel like a horrible parent when I think about it but I don't know what else to do
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? If money weren't an object, I'd go get a mani/pedi and get my hair done. Then get a much needed massage! If it is then probably just lounging around playing video games or watching whatever I want on TV. I'm exciting

1. How far along are you this week? 15+6 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Scheduled our anatomy scan for October 17!!! 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? It will be a cowboy/cowgirl theme. 4. Breakfast, then full on spa day- mani pedi, massage, facial.
1. 28w6d 2. Got lectured by H's mother about our changing table selection. So that was fun. Better get used to the unsolicited advice, right? Haha. 3. We're just now getting down to it. May just be a few colors, but considering throwing in some bicycle or robot elements for fun. We'll see. We made a lot of progress this week in purging, sorting, and rearranging our rooms so it's really wonderful to feel like we're actually going to have something ready by the time of baby's arrival. 4. I am lucky to have a lot of me time right now, I'm sure some day I'm going to be very wistful about it. But I usually do some GBCNing or play computer games, try to get something done, and do something for myself (shop or get lunch, enjoy a fun beverage on the back porch when the weather is nice, etc.).
1. 27 weeks 2. Random: my mom suggested a girl name that's a bit unusual (but definitely not u-neek, lol) and we've been kicking it around ever since. This weekend we asked MIL and SIL for girl name suggestions (we are at a loss, taking any help we can get) and they unknowingly agreed on the same name as my mom suggested. So now I really want a girl so I can use the name! 3. Nursery is pale aqua, white furniture, light blues and greens. No specific theme, just going for classic sweet baby nursery. My mom saved everything from our childhood so I have the artwork from my playroom, bunny light switch from my nursery, and tons of handmade blankets. If it's a girl, I will probably add pale pink curtains. 4. Longish run with DH, then trip to library and coffee shop and Yankee Candle store, then afternoon on the couch in front of the fire with our books, coffee, candles, then dinner (pizza or salmon) with lots of wine and then play board games while drunk. And finally some late night drunk online shopping in which everything is magically free and fits perfectly when it arrives, lol. With the exception of the free shopping, that is basically what every Saturday looks like for us. I hope to continue at least some of those things once baby arrives.
Poppy what was your MIL's beef with the changing set up? My mom didn't understand why I needed a separate area because she always changed me in the crib. I reminded her that cribs don't have drop sides anymore and she was like "Ohhhh. I get it now." Lol.

1. 31 weeks 2. My shower is this weekend and I'm trying to resist registry stalking! 3. Walls were already a light brown, so we left them, and did a green border at the top (There was "chair" molding about 18 inches from the top). Furniture is dark wood, and theme is "realistic animals" (as opposed to cartoon ones). My favorite piece so far is this that my mom bought us. Trying to make is more of a toddler/young child room than a nursery. 4. Binge netflix teen drama and knitting by the fireplace. Maybe get a massage - but then I'd have to get dressed, and I don't know that I would.
1. 24 weeks - so happy to hit this milestone even if it would be terrifying for them to arrive now.
2. Appt and u/s on Wednesday, looking forward to updated pics and measurements.
3. So far it is still DDs room, but furniture is white and we have two different sets of crib sheets - white/coral chevron and white/gray polka dots. Walls are yellow and curtains will be a colorful Waverley pattern.
4. Sleeping in and doing some shopping for home decor that is tough to do with a toddler in tow. If money were no object it would be a full spa day - mani-pedi, massage and facial.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? No nursery until we move unfortunately. Baby will just be in our room for about 6 months. I feel like a horrible parent when I think about it but I don't know what else to do
This does not qualify you for the horrible parent award. Sorry, you will have to try harder I felt so silly after DD was born when she spent the first 3 months in our room full time, and the next 9 months more with us than in her crib. All that time and worry over the nursery being just so- and she didn't really start using it full time until after her first birthday.
1. 12w! I am excited to hit this milestone. 2. We find out the sex by Thursday! I found myself picking out pink cupcake holders and decorations at the store yesterday to share the news with my family...and it was only after it was all in my cart that I realized what I had done and put it all back. So I guess I'm subconsciously thinking it's a girl? 3. It will be airplanes if it's a boy. We may do planes anyway if it's a girl and just change one of the accent colors. 4. Get my hair blown out (love how it looks straight, but lack the patience to do it well myself), go out for a fun lunch in the city, go to an independent bookstore and browse for a very long time, see a play or concert, and go to a fun dinner. I love books and food, in case you can't tell.

1. 22 weeks 2. vents- constipation and hemorrhoids, I am so over you. I have my next OB appt this week, so that is something to look forward to. We will also probably go minivan shopping in the next few weeks. 3. The nursery plan is starting to take shape. I made some decisions, and picked a paint color and bought a gallon of that and a ceiling fan for the room. I am using FLOR carpet tiles for the rug, and need to order those next. Then cribs, curtains, and art. I am trying hard to get this all settled by October. 4. right now, I would want a quiet lazy day to myself. But then again when the house gets quiet I sometimes don't know what to do with myself.
1. How far along are you this week? 23 weeks tomorrow 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 2 vents today 1-I wake up some time between 2 and 4 am and can't get back to sleep. It sucks and i just want a good nights sleep. 2-we are renovating our house and it sucks i can't help much. I am terrible at sitting around and watching others work. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Right now it's packed full of the stuff from the 3 rooms that are in the construction zone and covered in plaster dust. Once we are done it will be aqua with white furniture i think. I haven't put too much though into it because all my house ideas are centered around the kitchen. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Assuming the kitchen was done, i would put everything away then make an extravagant complicated meal with my 12feet of new counter space and make H do the dishes. Then i would take a nap and read a book.

1. How far along are you this week? 28w2d- 3rd tri!!!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Had my appt last Tues and little C is doing great! Also talked to my doctor about ML and she said that she cannot take me out on leave until 36w, so it looks like I have 8 more weeks to go. I was hoping for the end of October (only because of my commute) but am okay with this new plan. I also passed my glucose test so I'm happy about that! Oh, and my cousin went into labor at 36w yesterday and had a baby boy...she was team green and completes our 7 pregnancies in 2014 that are all boys (the only girl we know isn't expected to arrive until late Jan 2015)! Little C has another boy cousin- so exciting!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? The room was already painted blue with white wainscoting. DH re-painted the wainscoting to clean it up. The theme will be nautical.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, coffee, nice long walk with DH (preferably at the beach but unlikely since we live 1.5 hr away), read/relax, and a nice dinner. Another option is going camping, which we are doing this Fri-Sun...good company, great food, smores, hiking, and just hanging out!
1. 33w 4d 2. I registered for a hospital of the same name in a state nearly 1000 miles away. Oops! 3. The nursery is a disaster still. Half full of moving boxes and DD has been using any and all floor space as a play area. I did buy some crib sheets in her colors, and have plans for dying curtains a lilac color and have picked out a crib. She'll be in the bassinet in our room for a while anyway so I'm trying not to worry too much, but I do want to get it set up in the next 2-3 weeks. 4. I would get a pedicure, use up some gift cards that I have and work on the nursery. It's hard to get anything done chasing around a toddler inless I ply her with Calliou, which I hate doing but hey, it's working.
1. How far along are you this week? 37 wks approx 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Can't sleep again, and that horrid taste from the first tri is back in full force. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? LOL - no theme - I'll be happy after tomorrow when it gets painted and I can put up the shelves finally. We'll move the crib in once our out of town company leaves and we can switch the guest bed & DD1's toddler bed around. Then we can change the toddler bed back to a crib and move the rest of the furniture back in. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, pedicure, some sort of yummy lunch where I don't have to hear DD1 complain that she doesn't like anything, read, watch some shows that DD isn't allowed to watch (TrueBlood etc - nothing dirty lol).
