I have a few carriers and I am debating getting a Tula as well for our trip to NYC, but I'm not sure that its worth it.
Ergo: Pros: -love the weight and material of the performance one. It's also gray and black, goes with everything and H can wear it easily. It is very breathable for the hot weather we have in the south. -love the clips, easy to take off and put on. -LOVE the pocket, I can easily fit my cell phone, keys, money etc.
cons: -I'm not sure she could be worn in it all day and either of us still be super comfortable. I wore her to the farmers market the other day and I couldnt wait to take her off when we got home. I'm not sure if it was bc it was so hot or so long, but my back was a little sore the next day. -she gets red marks on the back of her head and legs after a long time in it.
Becco Gemini- -Pros: front facing. I haven't tried this much, but A would only let us front face her when she was smaller so I wish I would have had it then. I feel like I missed the time it would have been useful but might want to save it for the next kid. I love that it has this option.
Cons: - Doesn't have a pocket so I have to figure out where to put stuff when I go for a walk. - clips are hard to undo with one hand - does not feel as comfortable as the ergo, but I may not have it adjusted right -A seems to slide into uncomfortable positions in this one since it is much more open than the ergo. I have it tight and she's not going anywhere, but she feels less secure than the ergo.
I also have a ring sling, but mostly use the ergo now. Should I spurge and get the Tula as well? I tried one on today and it was very nice, but I can't decide if it is worth it to purchase when I already have the ergo that I really like. Although I do wear her everyday and I do think I could get some use from it. It did feel more comfortable and secure than the ergo.
The performance ergo doesn't have as much padding as the other ergos, tula, beco, etc that's what makes it more "breathable."
I carry my almost 11 month old for 6+ hours at a time in my Tula and have no pain or issues.
Tulas have a pocket on them as well (I put my iphone and credit card in there when needed).
I did check to make sure the pocket fit my cell phone which was nice. It's not as big as the ergo one, but it works. So what you are saying is buy the Tula haha.

I have a toddler tula that I got because DD felt too tall for the ergo, and I much prefer the fit of the tula. I plan to replace our ergo with a standard tula for the next baby.
How old is she? Given that you mentioned facing out I am going to assume you wear her on the front. Have you tried a back carry?
She's 6 months. I haven't tried a back carry yet. She has only been happy being worn in the ergo on the front for about a month.
I would try a back carry, it is usually more comfortable for most people. It is a little harder to get them on/up at first, but worth it once you learn how to do it.

We solely wore DD while in NYC a few months ago. One day we walked about 14 miles and I wore her for 2/3 of that. No pain at all. She is 25lbs and I have the toddler Tula. In comparison, my back used to hurt after wearing her on 1-2 miles walks with the Ergo.
Hands down, the Tula wins for comfort. Especially when wearing for long periods of time.

I adore our toddler tula. I can carry my 40lb DS for several miles andbe totally fine. It is SO comfy, esp compared to my ergo sport, which he outgrew awhile ago.
