I just watched a kid get body slammed climbing up a slide today because somebody went down while they were climbing it. It was a big slide and hard to see the bottom.

Ok, I didn't know if I was being too helicopter-y but I always tell her no. Tonight I was wearing S and V kept trying to climb up. I had to physically take her down and she was screaming at me, " NO! Daddy said I can!"
So I asked him and he's all, "that's what kids do!"
No. I hate when kids climb up it and get it all muddy so I don't want lily to do that, plus it's not safe if someone goes down and can't see the bottom.

We don't. And now it's hard because Carter wants to, and it's just about the only thing he can do great right now (with my help of course) because he wants to be mobile AND near his sister.

Nope! It isn't allowed when they go to school, so why create a bad habit now? I've seen too many kids get kicked in the face, so Sydney is never allowed to climb up the slide.
Nope. I think it's too confusing when there are other kids there and can cause injuries. I used to let Abby do it when there was no one else around, but then I realized it was just too hard for her to remember, especially when we were alone and then other kids would come and the rules would change.
