I heard a really interesting talk today on NPR about meditation in the workplace. I work from home, so I'm not particularly interested in it from that perspective, but I really found myself intrigued by the concept of mindfulness, as well as being fully present in everything you do.
So if you meditate, can you recommend any books or videos to help someone get started? I have a hard time shutting my brain off or allowing myself to be in the moment and think I would really benefit from this.
I just got Real Happiness - The Power of Meditation. I also like a few apps - by Andrew Johnson (relax+ is a great one) and also another app that is good is called Simply Being.
