We came home from the beach today and I'm 99% sure DS has an EI. He kept telling us that he just wanted to go home while we were playing on the beach earlier, which is unlike him. He did great the past 2 days getting over his fear of the noise. He felt warm earlier and sure enough, 101.5 fever.
I was all set to ship him off to DC tomorrow so I could clean the house and get rid of some clutter. Plans thwarted-that won't be easy to do with a toddler around. I just need him to go to DC Wednesday so I can do a big presentation at work. DH will still be OOT.
My friend and I went shopping. We moved my carseat into her car. She was hooking it up while I ran back into the house to change my shoes.
Fast forward 5 minutes later and we decide that our pregnant selves need McDonald's breakfast. We have ordered and are paying and DD pops over the top of her carseat saying "Hi!" and grinning like the cat who got the canary.
I thought she strapped her in. She thought I strapped her in. Nope. Loose toddler bouncing around.
Ooooooooops. Good thing we caught it before we drove an hour to the outlet mall.
I don't post here much but whatever. Today I was walking into target pushing my baby in her stroller while I was hardcore staring at this other mom with her kid in a stroller and I crashed into the automatic door. The other mom caught me staring at her, and I was like "oh hahahaaaa".

@this I am in a funk tonight. Tomorrow I will agree with you, but tonight I'm sad that I can't afford those awesome HA Star Wars Christmas PJs for Leo.
Here's hoping my almost 2 year old sleeps on his own tonight. Oh wait...there is no hope of that.
I seriously need to go to bed, but now that I've started actually posting instead of just lurking, I'm getting sucked in and want to keep going. ::quietly shuts laptop::

We went to the Dodgers game tonight and DD was an angel! She ran around the suite, are her weight in pretzels for dinner, and didn't melt down at all. We left early (of course), but she didn't cry at all. And when she got in her crib, she promptly went to bed. SUCCESS!!!!!
there is a momma bear and cub that's been hanging out around our house. I hate walking in front of our big kitchen windows at night because WHAT IF IT SEES ME??? this was a somewhat understandable fear when I was 7... less so now that I'm 28.
Are mini horses Shetland ponies? A lot of people treat them like dogs but yanno, not in a house training way. One of the chicks on Jersey Belle has one.
