Good news!
L had her last cardiology follow up (6 mos post-surgery) today and she's done with cardiology hopefully forever! Everything looks good and Dr. is happy. Woot woot!

S is back to sleeping like utter shit. The first half of the night he's fine. Sleeps from 8pm to anywhere between 12-2am. But after that wake up, he's up every hour or so.
Not unrelated, B was hitting every last nerve this morning.

Hooray!
A mimics adult conversation when we're talking. Last night my uncle was driving by as we were out walking and we're chatting and A goes "ohhhh yeaaaah, uh huh, hahahahahaha" in this super fake voice. It's hilarious but also embarrassing because do we really sound that fake?!
J picked up his travel pillow in the car this morning and tried to put it on. Then at breakfast he was coloring and eating his pancake and grabbing his drink like a normal person. All of a sudden his motor skills are taking off.
A has been up after going to bed lately. Suspiciously this started right about when we told him it was too dark to take books to bed. So he comes out and tells us his feet hurt, and then his back hurts and then his tummy. And I KNOW this is just attention seeking/boredom, but with his blood disorder we are always on the lookout for odd pains. I'm glad we have scans scheduled for January so we can rule everything out and feel better about being firm. And then when he's 30 I'm going to destroy him for making us worry.
DH and I have been planning a date night this weekend. When we called his parents for babysitting, they outright offered to have C sleep over (yes!!!). And C was soooo excited. Everyone is happy! He also has 2 days off from daycare/UPK this week due to Rosh Hashanah. One day with DH's parents, one with mine. I think he's really going to enjoy this weekend.
I'm home with AJ today thanks to the dreaded HFM (plus a sinus infection for extra fun). Thankfully right now, home=watching 90210 while AJ naps. If he stays fever free he can go back to the sitter's tomorrow, per the pedi. Hallelujah! He's a ball of sunshine, and the extra playtime has been great, but we both need our routine.
I was at a work event so mh did daycare pickup and was solo this evening until I got home just before bedtime. Apparently some time was spent outside coloring.
I forget sometimes that MH has a decent hidden store of artistic talent...and I melts me that he happily sits and draws pictures in the driveway with shorti.
So DD continues to be an ass at kindy. Apparently she's a brat about focusing on doing her letters. So now we gotta do nothing but letter "fun" at home to get her to focus longer.
