Mine is my half is this month so cut back some intensity so I'm not running on too tired legs, pick up a new yoga class starting next week, and I may try not journaling my food. I've never done that but I may try....who knows! Yikes! lol

Run 80 miles, and make it to the gym 7 out of 9 times on my calendar. Also not to get derailed by a few parties and Halloween candy. I'd love another 5k pR but after last week I'm not sure I can get much faster at the moment.
I want to PR my half marathon in Atlantic City. Sub-2:00 is a super long shot, so that's like a AAA goal. I'm good with it not happening as long as I get a several minute PR.
I haven't run a stand-alone HM all year (but did 2 as part of HIMs). If I can do a 2:15 run split at Timberman (a 10 min PR over last year's HIM run split), pretty sure my 2:07 stand-alone HM PR is going down.

Survive my first marathon Don't eat all the halloween candy or all the pumpkin goodies (I'm not off to a good start with this one!) Recover from the marathon and build speed for my two 10Ks in November and my winter 5K series starting in December
Survive/have fun at my first-in-many-years Half, and at my first organized trail run. I'll also be riding my bike for the first time since late August. The 2 5Ks I'm doing are for fun since it's with a friend just getting into running. I'm so proud of her!
10/5 - Wineglass Half Marathon. One week to go. Yahoo! 10/11- Scarecrow 5K 10/18- 20 mile canal bike ride (not a race, fun ride only) 10/19- 12K trail run/mudslog 10/25- Scare Away Brain Cancer 5K
My goal is to: Finish alive Stay with the 3:55 pacer for as long as i can If the stars aline PR, even if its by one second Or do at least better than my full in the spring Or break 4:00
I plan to cut back on mileage in Oct now that my half is done. I want to incorporate shorter, faster runs and work on my speed. I have 5k trail race in November so I need to do some of my runs on the trails by my house instead of the road.

Are you not doing Mohawk Hudson anymore? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?

Good luck with your goal!
That was me. I transferred my Mohawk Hudson bib to a friend in my tri club so I could go to my cousin's surprise party that weekend. AC is a week later.

Finish my first half marathon! Holy crap it's in a week! Keep up with the oly lifting schedule at cf. It's nothing more than we've been doing just having a hard time making up my rest day lifts.
October is a crazy month for me. I have two normal weeks coming up, then a week of working overnights (which I have never done before and I am terrified... I am SO not a night person!), then DH and I are off to Nepal!
My goal is to cut the shit out of my diet and get some solid cross training/strength training in between now and when we leave. My weight has been creeping up during marathon training. The marathon is over, so no more excuses.
My other goal for myself is to introduce myself to at least one new person per week at a running group I've started going to. I'm an introvert at heart, so this is challenging for me. But I've done it two weeks in a row now, and I have ended up having a great time both times.

I've been doing awesome on the workout front, but I'm going back to work full-time so I need to adapt my routine. The good news is my new company has a gym in the building! But I'll be so sad to go to Orange Theory less.
