He's not getting some strange and made up sounding name just so it can be the same first letter as DS1.
Of course until about 38w with DD, H was arguing for assorted video game character's names. And even told his mom one of his preferences which she then started referring to my belly/me by. (Like, literally, I no longer had a name, but that's a whole other MIL conversation/issue)
So, that is also why we don't decide/announce until kiddos are out.
I'm glad it was uneventful. Are you trying any old wives tales to get the baby moving?
I had to have NSTs due to Gestational Diabetes. I always feared that they would make me go straight to L&D, and that I wouldn't have any of my stuff.
I was worried about the same. I made a pile of my "daily use" stuff that isn't yet in my pre-packed bag.
I can't eat spicy foods (heartburn hell even without it) Walking/jumping jacks my muscles are like "wtf??" After being on pelvic rest since Feb. DH is not on board with the sex one (also, pelvic rest since feb, so... I'm not sure that would at all not be torture) Bumpy rides I've done (thank you MA construction) to no results. I haven't heard any other ones.
Sorry if this is TMI, but I swear nipple stimulation is what finally got DS3 out. See if your DH is up for some of that. Otherwise, you can do it yourself!

I have no filters.
I attempted. All I got was milk and sore nips.
I nursed DS until August (he was 13.5mos), then got pg in Jan, so my body never quite got the message to quit with the milk.
And the milk freaks DH out. He doesn't touch when they're milk producing. Because he has all the filters I don't.
I'm home for now. Waiting on a call (or my "call back" time)
*nothing* at all even a little labor like is happening and I'm in no hurry to go sit uncomfortably in a waiting room. I'd rather have attentive care than stressed out "deal with me cuz I'm in your face" care. In an uncomfortable waiting room chair.
So, I'll wait it out at home. In my own bed (or on my own couch)
Pitocin was slowish to get things going and then all of a sudden: action. Got my epi, and within 2 hours he had arrived. Had a false start with pushing, but got myself settled into a rhythm and ended up only pushing for 12min.
After all the indecisiveness about a name, we settled on first and middle from H's family.
