I bought a dress for DD on ebay and I cannot wait to get it. I keep checking my email for the shipment notification, but nothing has come yet... expected delivery is Friday and I am nervous it won't make it! I need it at the absolute latest on Monday for DD's school pics Tuesday. (and @starry I tried to PM you, but proboards is not letting me... so I appreciate your much more MM offer but I obviously and unfortunately won the auction, so I won't need your DD's dress )
M starts daycare today. I'm not sad about it or anything. More excited to have some time alone! (Today is practice for when I go back to work on Thursday.)
But damn am I feeling hormonal. Every segment on the Today Show is making me feel weepy. I haven't been like this since 2nd tri!
I'm going to AW here because I finally unloaded my DSLR camera last night and found this picture from a few weeks ago, which I absolutely adore. I mean, this kid could be a model for Hape. lol
**poof**
Also, my next Stitch Fix is supposed to ship today. Woot!
"We could go out there and take a baggie and catch a baby deer. Then we could cut his face off and cut him in pieces and bring him in the bag and cook him and eat him. YUM!"
I'm thisclose to canceling cable. Nothing irritates me more than when they start creeping up the bill by $5 a month and then quickly reverse it if I call and sit on hold forever. Which sucks. And really, the only reason we really like it is to watch baseball during the summer and for kids programing. Baseball is over and we have plenty of DVDs.
DS moved up to the 18-24 month room at daycare today and I think I cried more than when we dropped him off for his first day in the infant room. I have no idea what came over me.

You can get the MLB.tv package for things like Roku, Xbox, etc. The blackout rules are still in effect, so you'll miss the in-market games, but I think I saw news articles saying they're going to revise those.

DD has daycare pictures on Thursday, and I have no idea what she's wearing. I haven't put away her laundry in forever and just dig through her laundry basket everyday to get her dressed, so I don't even really remember what her options are. I guess I should add putting laundry away to my to-do list...

My H and I cannot figure out where all of our money goes. I mean obviously, daycare. but where does the rest go??? We can barely put money into savings anymore.
I'm cancelling my $30 pedicure for a friends wedding this weekend, that is how desperate my H is. Hope the bride isn't mad!

Signed, cable-cutting baseball fan.
If they revise the blackout rules, we'll never have cable again. Unfortunately/fortunately we're home team fans so there's been no other option, just cable. DH even tried messing with our IP address a few years ago but I had to remind him that I'm sure smarter IT people than him had closed the loopholes to getting around the blackout rules lol.
There was a time that we just redboxed it but then cable was only like $15 more than just internet alone and I was at home with a new baby, so we got it. But it's getting out of hand, slowly getting more and more expensive and cutting channels. And we don't even really watch it! The only things we dvr (using our computer, we don't have a separate dvr at all) are network shows and we have a good antenna in the attic.

This was totally us until last month. I bought the You Need A Budget (YNAB) software and it has seriously made a huge difference for us just in the one month we've had it. Might be worth a look! I know @vicmo uses it too.
We just got back from 3 weeks visiting my parents. They are very healthy eaters so I figured it would be a good time to get myself back on track too…and I did! We did eat out a few times but for the most part it was healthy, home-cooked food. I curbed the fast-food habit I'd developed this summer. I ran several times a week with the BOB. I was feeling pretty good, like my jeans (the ones I bought at 3 months PP, that were supposed to be my "fat jeans" but had become too tight) were maybe starting to fit a little better.
Weighed myself this morning and I am up 8 lbs. WTMF? 8 GODDAMN POUNDS? I am now almost 30 (sob) lbs over my ideal weight, 20 lbs heavier than I was when I walked out of the hospital, and weigh almost as much as I did at 9 months PG.
And it's not "muscle weight" or whatever. I have been a pretty serious runner/worker-outer for a long time and 30-min stroller runs are not going to pack 8 lbs of muscle on to me.
I look like a walking GBCN advertisement today. I'm wearing the Matty M leggings with The Target Tunic!
Day 3 of DH being gone and it's going well. I got in two work outs last night. One with DD playing in the basement and doing movements with me and the other once she went to bed. I would much rather go for a run but Bikini Body Mommy will have to be it for this week. I figure two a day should be good.
I'm also into a routine of getting up at 5am, feeding the dogs and bringing them out and in and then going back to bed for 30 more minutes until I actually have to be up.
I joined a book club with some moms from daycare. The book for next month is some Clinton Kelly beauty book (chosen by that month's host) because we "could use something lighter" and "I plan to have my Rodan + Fields products out in case anyone wants a facial or information." Umm, no. I just dodged a "party" invitation from you, I don't want book club to be another selling platform.
Uhm, no. That's really annoying and would pissed me off.
Dh and I talked and our next step with the pedi is to switch doctors and go from there. We've seen this doctor before for an emergency visit and liked her, so I'm hopeful. I'm also going to let her know we switched b/c of the issues with the other pedi.
Now I have to call and re-schedule E's 18m appointment.
I had a super graphic dream about Aziz Ansari last night. WTF, me.
Except it wasn't like a one night stand. Apparently we had been in a relationship before, but reconnected at a party. And it was all star-crossed lovers and emotionally charged. He told me he looked at my family and wished that had been him (lololol). Then I was all, "But, Aziz, I'm married!" But then we banged it out anyway.
Parks and Rec is ruined forever. lol
ETA: I have so much to do this morning, but I'm so distracted by Tom Haverford. hahaha
I need to go to the grocery store but getting myself and the baby dressed and actually going out seems very ambitious so I'm sitting on the couch while the baby naps. I also don't have a grocery list yet. Why is meal planning so hard lately?

Those people have no shame!
My R+F selling friends are so far shaping up to be some of the most aggressive and sneaky about working selling opportunities into every damn thing. And my FB world has had sellers of pretty much every damn MLM company out there.

Two weeks ago my daily "cutoff" for invoicing got moved from 1:30pm to 12pm. We invoice in real time so I was elated, the afternoons are generally busier with other tasks so being able to finish something by lunch was awesome.
Today my boss decided we're changing the cutoff to 1pm. WTMF? #nothappy
