I've entered the not sleeping zone of pregnancy. Last night I was exhausted and still up until 2am. Of course DS decided to make it an early morning and woke up at 6.
I can't take Tylenol PM. I get a weird reaction. It's a combo of feeling extremely nauseated, Swiss cheese brain and restless legs. I have never been able to sleep on Tylenol pm.
Is there anything else I can safely take or something that is working for you?
No advice on meds but I basically nap a lot. It sucks because then I really can't sleep at night but at this point you just have to sleep when you can. If I have no plans on the weekend I sleep a ton.
I have been waking up nightly from 3am until 4 or 5 with leg cramps, having to pee, having to eat. Last night was the first night I slept all the way through in a few weeks. I have no helpful tips, I'm sorry, but I'm there with you.
I think the sleep aid in Tylenol pm is the same ingredient as Benadryl. That's probably what I'm having a reaction to since reg Tylenol doesn't affect me.

Yup. Diphedremine (I just massacred the spelling of that)
I've also been taking half a Unisom when I am having trouble sleeping.
I find I sleep a lot worse on the days I don't have much exercise or activity. I normally try and do at least 40 minutes on the elliptical or walk a couple miles every day. Sometimes I'll do weights too. When I skip I definitely wake up a lot more during the night.
