My kid just eats it, some I'm no help. But he eats absolutely everything - he's just like his father! Not a nutritionist, but if they're getting BM or formula, I think you're fine.

You could add some applesauce for sweetness. I used to do that plus some berries. Now I usually just give her chobani tubes. I don't think it's a big deal for protein at that age but I do give it to my dd daily now since she doesn't eat much other protein.
DD hasn't been a huge fan of plain Greek yogurt so far. I bought the yobaby peach & pear flavors and she does better with that. It's still not her favorite though.
For protein I give her chicken or fish, usually salmon. I blended the chicken with some water to form a paste. I froze it in balls in an ice cube tray. I'll mix the chicken with something wet to make it easier to eat. She did well with the chicken in applesauce and also in carrots.
O loves Greek yogurt and I put it in a pouch for him. He eats it in less than ten seconds! It's an easy source of protein if your kid does like it! I wouldn't worry a ton about protein at that age since he's still getting bm/formula.
DD1 hated yogurt with things mixed in but loves it plain. We let her eat it however she likes and ended up eating it with her fists for a long time. Her only other protein source is nuts, which probably isn't helpful to you yet.

DS hates greek yogurt but loves other kinds. He clearly has a sweet tooth, so if something is too tangy (like greek) then he won't eat it. He actually likes the shelf stable gerber ones. I like them because they are the highest calorie yogurts I was able to find, before my grocery store started carrying the Stonyfield Yobaby/yoKid cups.
Insert spoon in mouth. E loves plain yogurt. Regular and Greek. She will eat as much as I will give her. She's weird. That said, if the kid doesn't like it, he doesn't like it. E is that way with bananas.
If they don't like yogurt, they don't like yogurt.
I didn't realize yogurt was a protein source.
it's a HUGE protein source. namasteak is it plain yogurt? because that stuff takes like sour cream and no kid is going to want that and avocado. try adding fruit

It was plain but it was mixed with his favorite mash (1/2 an avocado and 1 banana).
it's still pretty sour. Maybe try just a little bit of yogurt at first.
I go through phases with yogurt...some people just don't like it. AJ likes it most of the time (yobaby/yotoddler, greek yogurt) as long as there's fruit in it, but sometimes he's all "nope" and spits it out. Turd.
My girls like all yogurt we tend to give stony field plain full fat and when they aren't loving it we put a little bit of banana on the spoon with the yogurt and they can't get enough. But as pps said if he does t like it he doesn't like it, you can keep offering and he may change his mind. As long as he's still getting a lot of BM or formula I wouldn't be too concerned with what nutrients he's getting from solid foods.

Yep. The pumpkin Noosa I just ate has 14g of protein

M eats pouches of greek yogurt with stuff in them. We buy Plum Organics (Spinach/Raspberry and Greek yougurt or Corn/Cherry and Greek Yogurt). Those are her faves.
J has full fat plain yogurt. I add cinnamon and usually fruit and she loves it. She eats it almost every day for breakfast and thinks the bowl full of mush in goodnight Moon is 'yogurt!'
DD loves plain greek yogurt, but she will eat basically anything. We do BLW, so I'll pile some on a plain rice cake and let her feed it to herself. Messy, but she likes it.

I just do the flavored TJs organic yogurts in a reusable pouch. She likes having control over eating and even thought it's not full fat yogurt, the calorie difference isn't much.
