I broke my nose when I was 12 or 13. I forget which one. It is definitely different now.
I don't know why I get curious about this... but do you think it's different good or different bad?
Right after it happened, I would have told you it was bad different. I was really Marcia Brady about the whole thing. I was born with my mom's nose, which is more of a ski slope. After The Incident (I smashed it on the bottom of a swimming pool!!!!! Feel sorry for me!!!!), it was really swollen at the bridge. It was not great for a while. But now I like it. Yeah, i've got a bump, and there is NO sign of my mom's nose anymore, but I think this one actually fits my face a little better.
tl;dr -- I like it now, but I was unhappy with it throughout highschool and college.
ETA: I didn't have any surgery, though, or anything. My folks weren't even convinced it was broken at the time, so I never saw a dr or got it reset. It was like, "Hey that sucks, kid. Here's some ice. Quit whining." Is it too late to call CPS about this?
