Well, he came for DD's wedding with his daughter and his ex-wife
:?
It was a little awkward because he didn't tell us he was bringing his ex-wife (They remained living together after their 5 month marriage ended in divorce) and they have actually been very pleasant the entire time and their little girl (a granddaughter we really don't know) has completely taken over our lives since they arrived. She is a beautiful, sweet, smart little girl and she's calling DH "Big Papa" and she calls me "Mama" (she calls her maternal grandmother "Mama Shirley" so she doesn't really use "grandma")
Her hair has curls like Shirley Temple and she said she's going to be a ballerina so I bought her a pink leotard and a tutu and she's been wearing it for two days.
I went back to work yesterday so I'm not here during the day but DH said that they're being nice and he's having a really good time with them.
The only strange thing?
They're taking a shower together right now and DH said he could hear them going at it all night even though their daughter is in the bed with them. That's strange, right? She's going to be 4 in March and I assume (hope) she's asleep while they're getting busy.
You can't have S-E-X when you're taking care of a B-A-B-I-E!
(Baby)
It's from Friends. Joey goes into Monica and Chandler's apartment. They're watching Emma, but Monica is ovulating, so they go into the bedroom to have sex. Joey says this as he's whisking Emma out of the apartment. And, yes, he spells baby wrong.

Ah. I was not of the friends era.
It's cool. Now I just feel really self-conscious that people think I'm an idiot who can't spell simple words. No big.

I would never do this, and it certainly goes against all our cultural norms, but calling it abusive is a bit of a stretch. Entire families live in one room in many cultures, and young children (even beyond 4 years old) share a bed with their parents. It would stand to reason those parents do not wait for alone time to have sex.
Wait, was he being a groomzilla about his remarriage to the ex, or a new woman that he's since broken up with?
Anyway, that's totally improper and potentially harmful to their daughter. Very disturbing.
He was being a Groomzilla when he first got engaged (when he was 19) to this same woman. They secretly got married and then divorced five months later but they never moved out. They still live together.

I do not consider it abuse and I'm certain she is asleep because she asks a bajillion questions, lol.

The little girl sounds completely charming.
The sex stuff is way out of my comfort zone, but I guess it's not inherently abusive. Still, setting aside the question of the daughter, I think it's rude to have loud sex when you're a guest in someone's home.
