DD has always been active and full of energy, but tonight it was like on super drive. She was climbing and crawling with fury after dinner. I don't know why I thought of this, but I looked at the label of the pear-raspberry puree and it has 11 grams if you eat the whole 4 oz jar. DD had about half the jar. So then I started looking at the labels of the other jars pouches and they ranged from 2 g to 15 g. I believe these are naturally occurring sugars so the apple-blueberry-yogurt had a ton of sugar whereas lentil-something veggie had the least.
It never occurred to me to watch the sugar content of what I've been feeding her. She eats about 6 - 8 oz of purees a day. Now I am wondering if I've been feeding her too much sugar and this might be why she doesn't nap as long somedays and stays up so late sometimes like yesterday, 7 am - 9:30 pm.
