You know, I'm on my second wedding. If this doesn't work, imma be single for fucking ever. Or rather happily unmarried.
Fourth wedding? Nah, man. Not until I make my J.Lo millions and can release a song called Haters to the left and shoot a video to match hanging out my Bentley and giving no damns.

I attended a 4th wedding once. Well...technically I was staff. It was one of MH's friend's mom and they held it at a picnic pavilion at a public pool in York PA. Food was fried chicken and picnic sides provided by various aunts and friends of the family. It was officiated by a local elected official. Bridal party was entirely the couple's kids. Bride wore a pretty yellow sundress and pearls. She later changed into her bathing suit to go swimming, but kept the pearls on. MH and I were in charge of pouring the champagne into the fancy plastic cups - there had to be designated "bar staff" manning the bottles in order for the pool to allow them to have alcohol in glass bottles.
Nobody was really drinking the champagne though, so after the bulk of the "reception" the bride told us to just drink it ourselves. I got hammered. It was fun. And cute.
i once had a professor in college that wore long, prairie skirts everyday. one day she wore a skirt that she made out of a pair of jeans, so that in the middle, there was a giant triangle of patterned cotton. it was the ugliest homemade skirt i had ever seen.
until now.
the queen, homemade jean skirt is dead (2001-2014) long live the queen, homemade jean skirt (2014-?)
those things were very VERY very common in my youth.
in the 70s.
I haven't seen one IRL since then. And that's a good thing.
Some (all) of the FB sewing groups I'm in have so many hideous outfits. OMG the things people do with camouflage!!
Dude, and my people, they do the most with the least. I cannot even some days. Stretching lycra to the limits and then talking about how they draped the pattern themselves. Nope.

Are you in GBU or Sew&Tell? The things people put their children are atrocious.

Neither! PM me!
I'm in Peekaboo Pattern shop which actually, they aren't bad. Half of them can't really sew but whatever. But it's Sewn Up that kills me softly on the regular.
