I actually painted my nails last night for the first time in forever. I made my h go to Sally's yesterday and get that gel topcoat that people have been using.

I did some Sally Hansen stick on things Saturday night. They're not as pretty right now, but they feel festive. I'll be getting more of these brought in for Christmas.
Ohh the gel topcoat? So how do you take that off then? And you dont have to use a light?
No light!! I am not sure how to take it off. I haven't researched that far yet. But I got the base coat and the top coat and the ladies on style and beauty recommended it!!

What brand is it? @chelsmonster told me about the Sally Hansen one that doesn't need a light and I have been using that. I need to redo my nails though.

Speaking that- my toenails from the wedding over two weeks ago are STILL looking great!
Nice! What colors do you have? I have street flair, pinky promise and dig fig. I have dig fig on my toenails and am about to try it on my finger nails. I usually put neutral on my fingernails (like the pink one) so I am not sure if I will like it although I like darker colors on other peoples nails.

I tried it, and the polish all peeled off within a couple of days and took a few layers of my nails with it, so now my nails are so busted and peeling. The same thing happened when I got a salon gel manicure, and it took my nails about six months to grow back to normal. No more gel for me.

Really? The one with no light needed by Sally Hansen? Salon gels or anything besides regular polish usually do that to me.

Yes, the Sally Hanson Miracle Gel polish and topcoat. I was really hoping it would be awesome, but my nails apparently hate gel.
I left it in the work bathroom for another unsuspecting victim.
