Age for FP Crawl around Car?

Babycheapskate just posted the 2014 toys that get played with list for agest 6-12 months and the FP crawl around car is new on the list. My mom was planning to get it for DS for Christmas; he will be 11.5 months at that time.  What age/age range did you find your child enjoyed the toy if you have/had it?  The product description says ages 6 month- 3 years so maybe it will be a toy that cross over to the 13-24 month list as well.

G is almost 14 months and still LOVES hers. Before she could reliably sit, we wedged the bumbo inside so she could sit in that and push the buttons. Now, she likes to climb in and out over the door, play all of the music, etc...

We got it at 8 months - it was used several times a day for about 6 months and then I put it away for space issues. I'm about to get it out again.

I got it for him when he was 10 months and he still plays with it at 16 months. Love it.

E started using his around maybe 10 months and still likes it!

We got it for DS2 for Christmas (5 months) and he still plays with at 13 months. His 3 yr old brother loves playing with it too.

We did have a 2 yr old boy come over for a play date and although he really like the car, he cried repeatedly in frustration that it didn't actually move like a car.

I will admit that part of the love is that he doesn't see it daily since he is in daycare and we don't do much playing during the week.

DS is 19 months and loves to play with it at his friend's house so much that we are considering getting it for Christmas. His friend just turned 2 and still plays with it.
