I'm starting a new thread.
We are on round two of A Very Thomas Christmas this afternoon.
It was picture day at preschool today. G chose today to dump sand on his head at recess. Let's hope it doesn't show up in pics
Tickets for his school's fall festival are $10 a person, not to exceed $30 per family. Whaaa? This seems so expensive. I was thinking more like $3 for kids and $5 for adults or something. It's kind of a fundraising event, but dang.
3 unhappy and screaming kids at the same time is pretty insane. Got one boobed down for a nap, another watching lalaloopsy and the other playing my phone right now. Whew!
We went to Trader Joe's today. When I got home and was unloading groceries, I discovered a bag of toasted coconut chips were thrown in. It wasn't on my receipt, so I didn't pay for it. I have no idea how it got there. I am not driving all the way back to the store to return them either. #sorrynotsorry
G had her yearly allergy appointment this morning and it went well. Her doctor is right by DH's office so he met us there then we all ate lunch at his office. After lunch G was sad to leave DH and absolutely insisted she wasn't going to be taking a nap. I said fine, she didn't have to nap. Not 5 minutes down the road she fell asleep and has gotten at least 90 minutes of sleep in. A napped for part of that time and is now nursing. I'm enjoying sitting in my garage probing.
I have come to love shopping at Aldi's because of the surprise factor. This week I found Mac and cheese ravioli shaped like a fish, yogurt pouches, and roasted pumpkin seeds.
We went to Wy's first gymnastics class this morning. For the 1030am class we left at 845am to get there on time. Seriously, I just drove 3 hours total for a 45 minute class. But he enjoyed it SO MUCH that it was completely worth it.
I just had to text my Mom and ask her to check and see if DH turned off the oven. His memory worries me. He leaves the keys in the ignition (sometimes even leaving the car on), and yesterday forgot to turn off the water after he and A brushed their teeth. Luckily, I was in the shower and saw it when I got out. Otherwise, I would come home home to a flooded bathroom. Ugh, these are the things he NEEDS to tell his doctor.
I got into the accident going to the mall that has the Hanna Andersson store. My mom took me after we got everything settled because she felt bad and they didn't even have the red and white Christmas pajamas in store (not until 10/21) and they were out of Calvin's size in either the pants or onsie in all the Bright Baby Basics stuff EXCEPT for pink. Rage!
Shit. Ari just ate half a blue crayola crayon. Fuckkkkk. He puked some of it up and then chewed and swallowed the rest. Wtf. Their website says they are non toxic and it was only a little bit. He's fine right?
Apparently Chicago is having a Fire Festival. They will light things on fire and float them down the Chicago River
Sooo that's a thing.
Cool Providence has Waterfire, where they light things that are always in the water on fire while they play music and people take gondola rides. It's ridiculous but fun.
Confession: I'm nursing A to bed, he's been asleep for almost 25 minutes but I'm sitting here rocking him so I don't have to deal with toddler bedtime. I do this almost every night. I like to think of it as their bonding time
I ordered a painting tonight! I'm so excited to get it. It's from the artist I posted about in Faevantastic's thread. They were having a too good to pass up offer on fb, so I did it.
We stop at this puppy store almost every day on the walk home from daycare. I feel bad enjoying a place that takes potential adopters away from shelters, but the puppies are too freaking cute.

My H and I used to go to that exact puppy store all the time! I wasn't subtle about the fact that I wanted a puppy.
I saw the new cardiologist and he was awesome! He really put me at ease.
Nothing in the house looks good to eat. I want fajitas lol.
A finally started putting phrases together regularly! It makes me so happy.
I'm glad the Dr was able to put your mind at ease, a great dr makes the world of difference.
D is is really just starting to string things together too. Of course most of his are things like "me take baby toys away"
"put baby down HERE!"
"Daniel/me only (insert pretty much anything), baby either" we're not sure where it came from but "baby either"means that Alexander cannot do/have whatever he's talking about at the time.
We're going through a bit of a jealousy phase here
