I'm still plugging away at 11/22/63- Stephen King. I'm enjoying it but it's taking me a long time. It's almost 900 pages. I'm finally past the halfway point though!
The Steady Running of the Hour by Justin Go. I'm not very far into it, but I think I like it. It's an ARC that I won from my library by answering a question on their facebook page, which asked for the captain's name in Moby Dick -- no idea what that had to do with this book.
I'm reading the Phantom Tollbooth. Another book I should have read in 5th grade but didn't. It's cute. It reminds of Catherynne M. Valente's writing, actually.

I am reading Blood of Olympus. I'm really sad because it's the last Percy Jackson book. I should say I'm attempting to read it, I've felt crappy all week.
I'm still re-reading A Clash of Kings but that's partly because I took a break to read Hyperion by Dan Simmons (on Kindle while I traveled) and listened to Caleb's Crossing by Geraldine Brooks in the meantime.
I like A Clash of Kings better this time than the first time, but that may be partly because of all the GOT excitement out there in general.
I definitely enjoyed Hyperion and will pick up the second book in the series soon.
Caleb's Crossing was interesting but not up to par with Year of Wonders IMO. I did thi k the audiobook was well done.
I'm really excited because I finally got my library notice that The Silkworm (by JK Rowling) is available, so I'll start that this weekend.
I finished a book Wednesday (Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good) and I can't decide on a novel, so I am reading magazines and a London guidebook to prepare for our trip in July. They allow me the calm of reading in the short bursts I'll find time to do it this weekend.
I'm studying for a licensure exam, so nothing for fun at the moment. Hopefully soon I'll continue rereading the HP series. I just have too much studying to stop and read for now.

What Alice Forgot - kind of an interesting spin on a time-travel concept. It's about a woman with a head injury who wakes up remembering nothing from the previous 10 years and has to figure our how she became the person she suddenly is.
The Paying Guests - Sarah Waters - Forbidden Victoria lesbian love. Great if you're into that kind of thing. Still not as good as Fingersmith or Tipping the Velvet though.

I'm reading Bagpipes, Brides, and Homicides. It's interesting, but I'm finding it a bit complicated for a fluffy, cozy mystery. Though that could be me, I've had a screaming headache off and on for a few days so I'm reading in fits and starts.

I'm finishing up with Murder In Murray Hill. Not sure what i'm going to read after I'm done. The 3 books I have on hold aren't even close to becoming available yet. I'm completely unrealistically hoping that the next book in the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children or The Grave Yard Queen series was out, but that's not going to happen for quite a while I imagine. I'm considering trying to read The Twelve again. I could not get through it the first time around, maybe a 2nd go might be better.

I really enjoyed The Passage although at times it dragged. The Twelve sucked. I had a hard time getting through it. I don't even know how I feel about the third one and whether I'll read it. I had such high hopes for The Twelve and was disappointed.

I read The Twelve cover to cover, devoured it. I could not do that with The Passage. This is going to sound really stupid, but I was pregnant at the time and the chapters with the pregnant mother really bothered me. Like I took it personally, LOL I ultimately decided to hold off on The Passage, and I'm rereading another series I remembered I liked, which is a completely different genre. I decided to reread The Mistress of the Art of Death.
