Just sitting here eating my McD's sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. Haven't had much of n appetite this week so when I woke up craving McDonald's I decided to go for it.
i think my friend is canceling on our plans to hang out today. I'll probably go see Gone Girl instead.
I didn't fall asleep until after 3AM and I am up for the day and not feeling too terribly bad, yet. I think yet is the key word here as I am sure in a few hours I will be dragging ass.

Today I'm scotch guarding my new chair before I have to take it to storage. Then later tonight I'm supposed to go out for a birthday party. I'm not sure I really want to go though.
I'm just waking back up and debating between urgent care or sleep. Currently I have no fever and the meds I took around 5am seem to be helping somewhat with the congestion and body aches. I'll probably still go.
Glad I went to urgent care. Now I'm waiting at the pharmacy to pick up a Z pack and then I'm going home to rest. Turns out warm tea is easier for me to swallow than lukewarm water.

Boyfriend and I went and saw Gone Girl last night! It was really good. There were tons of people in the theater who hadn't read the book and their reactions were awesome. Boyfriend hadn't either and I was totally giggling at him while he freaked the fuck out.
I hope you feel better soon tiramisu - and mags I'm glad you're feeling better!
H and I went to see Gone Girl yesterday. Neither of us have read the book, so we were sucked into it from the very beginning. I jumped and gasped multiple times during the movie (and I'd like to think it takes a lot for a movie to get me to gasp). We hadn't been to see a movie in a long time, and we really enjoyed it
I've been trying to spend the afternoon studying/writing presentations...and I'm seriously lacking in motivation.

Is it weird to say I use to love the z-pack? I use to get sever sinus infections on the regular and that was the only thing that would kill the fucker.

No, not weird at all. At least not to me. I love the z pack as well.
I am grateful that I have never had to take a z-pack, and also grateful that such a thing is available to people who need it. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks!
They're pretty great, either 3 or 5 days of taking pills (only 1/day after the first day) and it's the equivalent of 10 days of regular antibiotics. Plus they don't smell like augmentin and amoxicillin.
It was kind of dorky but cute and generally well done for something that could have been suuuuuper tacky. I guess technically the theme was fall/hunting. Deer season? Colors were black, blaze orange, and camouflage. "The hunt is over!" was printed on the programs, and the bridesmaids were listed as The Does, groomsmen were "The Bucks" and the ring bearer and flower girl were The Fawns. The bridesmaids wore black dresses with camouflage sashes around their waists. The bride (DH's cousin) had a matching sash. Groomsmen wore black tuxedos with camo vests and ties. Groom wore a camo tux jacket. Flowers were orange. The boutonnieres were single daisies tucked inside expelled shotgun shells. Table decor was mostly autumnal, but also included more shotgun shells scattered around the centerpieces. Everything took place indoors but there were still lots of hay bales and hand-painted plywood signage.
I think that's about it? We didn't stay past dinner so there could have been stuff we missed. All I know is that the 80 minute drive was worth it just for the moment I saw that jacket.
