I am always skeptical of trend diets and trend exercise regimens... Actually, I'm skeptical of anything that's trending.
Also (and perhaps flammable) I am skeptical of the flu vaccines. I'm planning to get one this year (maybe)...and I'm just hoping that I get vaccinated against the right strain.
I'm not a fan of Columbus (but I am a fan of Seattle turning "Columbus Day" into "Indigenous Peoples Day"), so I thought I'd draw attention to another reason to celebrate this wonderful Monday 13!
I'm skeptical of most of the diet trends and exercise trends. I'm most skeptical of the pasta = evil trend. Overeating anything is bad, I can't hate on pasta or carbs.
I'm skeptical towards people who buy into any one trend whole-heartedly. Or who buy into any one philosophy without questioning and without being open to others' perspectives.
I'm skeptical of the stability of someone who believes in lots of conspiracy theories (like dumbglasses and his belief that 9-11 was an inside job).
I am skeptical of every damn home based, pyramid selling scheme on FB. From shakes to skin care to jewelry to whatever else people have no problems pimping out to their friends to make a buck off of.
I'm skeptical about a lot of posters and their stories.
Yes! Although the whole montereybride mess made me realize I'm not nearly skeptical enough. After all that went down, I'm not nearly as eager to give every user the benefit of belief. I'm starting to think of people here more as "personas" than actual people. (Not you guys, though...I know y'all are real )
