With that much time you could easily do the Argentina side. Depending on your flight times you could either pack it all in on day 1 or do a bit on the first afternoon and the rest the next morning. Entry is 50% off on the second day, so it's not painful to go twice.
Whether you'd really have time to see Brazil as well depends on your flights. We left Puerto Iguazu on the first bus that gets you there just after the park opens and were basically done by 11 am. It's about an hour back to the airport in Puerto Iguazu. The reason I would say yes, go to Brazil is that right now from Argentina you can't get to the Garganta del Diablo because those walkways were washed away in the last floods. From Brazil you get right up in there, and it is truly impressive. If the Argentine walkways will be fixed by the time you go, I wouldn't bother with getting the visa when you'd already be reasonably tight on time. If they won't, then my answer re:Brazil depends on how much hassle the visa is and what your flight schedule is. Either way, I do think the Argentina side is worth it alone, but I could also see how for you it would make sense to wait and go when you have more time, since you travel often enough that this isn't a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

That's plenty of time to see Iguazu. We did 2 nights but it was at a very relaxing pace (although we didn't go to the Brazil side). We flew up, spent the night, hiked a few different trails the next day and relaxed, then the next morning did a boat ride under the falls then flew back to BA.
I went for two nights and that was enough time. I think you could see most of the Argentinian side with one night. Also, we didn't go to the Brazilian side and I don't feel like I missed anything. Of course since I didn't see it, I can't say for sure.

I just got back from Argentina yesterday. We did Iguazu-on the Argentinian side. It could easily be done in 4 hours if you are in a rush. We met several people who went to the Brazilian side. Each and every person said if you do the Brazilian side-then 1-do that first (Better panoramic views) and 2-you can bypass the visa and get an taxi to drive you down at the 'black market rate'. We met a few girls that did this-they said it was fine, never felt unsafe. We stayed at the Sheraton in the park-really overpriced and pretty plain jane (look for discounts online), but we were only there for a night. It worked out since we arrived in time to do the top circuit before the park closed at 6. Then the next day-we did the lower circuit, a boat ride (15 mins of the actual ride) and then went back to the hotel to shower and head back to the airport. We were not in Iguazu for even 24 hours. We have been to Victoria and Angel falls-and I am so glad we saw Iguazu-so def try to fit it in if possible.
