Worth it? I tried to find a similar one on rugs.com or rugsusa and its hard to tell if the color would be right and/or what it would really feel like.
I didnt want to spend as much as the PB ones are (although their is a rug sale) I was trying to use a coupon and freeship code today but it will only let me use one promotion. I know its only $50 more then I was mentally ready to spend but I'm annoyed b/c I didnt want to be spending that much anyway I just like the rug a lot.
We splurged on a PB rug for our living room (it was literally the only rug we could agree on...I consider it an investment in our marriage, lol). We don't regret it at all.
We also have PB rugs - one in the living room (that does shed A LOT) but it's wool and any wool rug will do that. The other is a natural jute and chenille rug in the dining room. We don't have kids or pets, but both are holding up nicely.
And their customer service is great - we had some issues where the first rug arrived damaged and the second was a bit discolored. We were able to ship both back without paying for shipping. The third time they made sure the rug was thoroughly inspected being shipped and offered us a gift card for all the hassle.

We got one for DDs room, it seemed to shed forever, perhaps because it is a less frequently vacuumed room? IDK, but I have gotten less annoying rugs for less elsewhere. I picked up a tufted wool rug for my hall that has hardly shed at all at Tuesday Morning (like homegoods) for a couple hundred.

I had a PB rug in my LR and it looked great for several years. (Still does, just NMS anymore) My RugsUSA ones, on the other hand, won't last half as long. I see them more as seasonal trade-in pieces.
Is it tufted wool? It's not out of the ballpark for something that size in wool. I wouldn't pay that for a poly. I have heard problems with some pb tufted rugs shedding at first, so be prepated for shedding.
7 years later and I still can't sit on our floor in lu lu lemon pants - the fibers stick to the luon and eventually you just can't get it off. I've ruined at least three pairs. The shedding never stops!
Well hate to report back bad news but its been 3 months and the shedding will not stop!! We vacuum without the roller brush on, we've even tried a more powerful shop vac. We dont have a ton of traffic on it so maybe if we just "broke it in" quicker it would stop shedding but I worry it never will. I called pottery barn a few weeks ago, and they did offer to take it back, but i'd have to pay for shipping. It does look good, it feels nice but all black workout pants, dress socks have wool fibers stuck to them.
