I've been dealing with this since 28 weeks or so. Fortunately, my weight gain is mostly all belly so I don't let it bother me, but it does bother me that people can be that rude. I've kept my mouth shut so far, but someone is going to say something at the wrong time and it won't be pretty. My weight gain is right where it should be, and the baby is measuring right on schedule.

I currently feel the opposite...for now.
Agents in my office are always saying such sweet and wonderful things, people in stores are always so friendly and random neighbors we haven't met see me in the driveway and pull over to introduce themselves, ask about the baby, etc. Seems like people love pregnant women around here.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time unless someone says something ridiculous to me. I hope I cry on the spot....f-ing assholes.
I haven't had anyone say anything rude yet. Most comments lately are that I look great or that I'm small for only having a month to go.
The small comments bother me sometimes. I do feel like my belly is small compared to other people who are 35-36 weeks, but I'm measuring right on track. I think my belly just looks small because I have a long torso. The fact that he has taken up residence in my ribs probably doesn't hurt either.
I kinda just wish people would stop constantly telling me how they think I look. People say nice things, but It always feels awkward to me to have everyone analyzing my body all the time.

I've been lucky so far to not get too many bad comments, but there are a couple that bugged me. First was my coworker that seemed to be trying to make me feel bad about finding out the sex. Umm, my baby, not yours, I will do things the way we want to, thanks!
The other was my grandma.. it wasn't so much what she said but how she reacted to baby being a boy. She has 2 great grandsons already and I know everyone was hoping for a girl. She seemed legitimately upset that it was a boy. I'm so glad my child is so wanted by my family! She said she was kidding, and I'm sure she was, but I can't help but feel like baby disappointed everyone on my mom's side by having the wrong "parts". Don't make me feel like that!

My sister has 2 boys, so she and my mom are really rooting for a girl. My MIL has 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson so she wants a boy. Someone is going to be SOL.

Haha.. can't win! I think H's side wanted a boy, especially FIL! They are already planning out hunting trips with him and have guns for him. He will not be touching those for a LONG TIME! I'm kinda hoping #2 will be a girl to even things out, haha. I do want a girl eventually, so I'm hoping one of each works out If not, oh well!
In-laws have two children, DH and BIL. BIL and his wife have two girls. They are not having anymore children.
MIL has always wanted a grandson because she had boys. She was SURE that her first two grandchildren were boys, but nope, they are girls. She was SURE we were having a boy, but nope, we are having a girl.
When I told her, she asked if the doctor was SURE it was a girl. I said yes. She said "Oh well, you never know, she still might grow a penis by your next ultrasound! God can do amazing things!" My jaw just dropped. I guess it was a good thing I told her on the phone.
And per my last ultrasound, my daughter did not grow a penis.

Oh, God...I have had it up to here with that shit this week.
I get "are you sure there's only one in there?", "You really have 6 weeks left" And "Wow, I can't believe you're so close, you seem so small" in the same day, though, so I don't think people really know WTF they're talking about.
I've also been told that I better "suck it in or something, because you're getting huge". By a coworker. People never cease to amaze me. "You look great" is the one and only acceptable thing to say to a pregnant woman in my opinion.
It didn't help that I was measuring ahead because of a PROBLEM (high fluid), so every time someone said something it upset me. That's corrected itself now, thank goodness, but I still get comments all the time :/

bk1 haha. If the baby cooperates and the u/s tech isn't an idiot, they are usually right! I did have a friend confirm because she has seen them be wrong a lot, but if they know what they're doing they shouldn't be!
