R: It always amazes me what one hour of meal planning can do. I am so excited by our meals this upcoming week.
AW: DH took DD1 out to run errands, DD2 is taking a long morning nap and I am bumping/watching tv and grading papers with a second cup of coffee. Awesome!
V: AF made her first appearance in 17 months. I could totally do without. I feel like crap. This isn't fair, DD2 is still nursing around the clock.
So I'm sitting here at DS2's soccer game and this little girl (apparently from his class) comes up next to me and just stood there staring at me. Finally she says "do you know those strange people?" and ran away.
vent- DH puts spoons and knives in the dishwasher COVERED in peanut butter. WTF?! Rinse it off before putting it in there!
Ugh. My dh does this too. First off, seriously, you eat peanut butter off a spoon? And second, it doesn't rinse off in the dishwasher so use a little elbow grease before you put it in there!
V: I really need to go to the grocery store. This week was crazy and so is next week. I hate the grocery store on the weekends. AW: I love this weather we are having. R: I am clearly out of shape. The school fall festival was yesterday. I was there for 14 hours setting up, during, and cleaning up. My body hurts.

V- I caught the terrible cold DD had last week. I am so tired and achy.
R- I am knitting the coolest scarf
AW- My husband is being awesome. He got me the sweetest anniversary present (5 years yesterday), stayed home from work today because I'm sick, and is now going to finish the grocery shopping for me

I have to explain to him that our dishwasher isn't like his industrial one at work.
So when he puts things in there with food on it I cringe.
Guess I'll have to make a rule like that here- all dishes need to be clean-ish before going in!
I've been fighting that battle with my husband for years. I don't know what is so hard about scraping food into the garbage and rinsing off dishes. It makes our dishwasher disgusting.
Peanut butter is delicious off a spoon. I eat it all off though. So no harm to the dishwasher. I don't rinse dishes though. I try to tell myself I am being green and saving water. But really I am lazy.
R: I have been looking into planning a first ever Disney trip for Jan 2016. DS1 will be 6 and DS2 will be almost 3.
V: We want a 3rd and will start TTC fall of next year and if the timeline is anything like what we're *hoping* it to be, I would be pregnant during the trip. It is hard to figure out the "best" time to go. I don't want to go with a kid under 2. I mean I know this is a long time away, but 14 months in advance isn't too far for Disney right??
AW: I am buying a used a treadmill and going to make an effort to get some more regular exercise in since it is hard for me to get to the gym.

I just bought an elliptical this week for the same reason! I am really excited to have something convenient for during nap time and in the morning before everyone is up. It will reduce the valid excuses I have for not exercising though.

AW- had a lot of fun birthday shopping with my parents. I got new boots and jeans. It's nice to have clothes that fit. R- my kids are making a boat out of cardboard boxes. V- DH left so it's just me until tomorrow. Boo! He's playing risk with his old high school buddies. The weather sucks so I guess it's inside time today which means my house is probably going to be wrecked.

R: My house smells so nice right now. Dryer sheets and a garlicky pork stew in the crockpot.
AW: Just this week my hair made a magical transition from looking shaggy and in need of a trim to being a nice shoulder-length. After a year of looking dumb trimming up layers, I like my hair!
V: My husband and daughter were sick last week and I was put through the wringer making soup, tea, laundry. He slept every second he was home (but still worked like an idiot) so I got zero moments alone, no workouts, no help for even a few minutes. He had the audacity to bitch about the state of the house today.

My husband won't rinse out his coffee tumbler at work. They have a little kitchen with a sink and everything in his office. He has to go in there to put his lunch in the fridge and again to take it out at lunchtime, but he still brings home cups with the last bit of coffee drying up on the bottom.
Aw: DH let me sleep in today. Which was much needed because I was up every hour last night with at least one of the kids. DS won one if his games and made a touchdown!
R: DS went to spend the night with MIL so it's just me, dh who's sleeping and dd. It's so quiet in my house and I'm loving it.
R/V: Last week, I ordered my allergy medicine and was supposed to pick in up later in the week. This morning, I realized I hadn't picked it up and that's why my nose had been running. My nose is like a mother fucking faucet right now. I can't go ANYWHERE without a box of tissues. I forgot how awful my allergies are without my medicine. Fucking dogs.
AW: I managed to not kill anyone today. I still have tomorrow, but now that I know why my nose is so messed up I'm trying to keep up with OTC medicine until Monday morning.
My random and aw all in one. I went to my favorite place (Dollar Tree) and picked up some Christmas decorations. I made this from some of the items I got there. Does it look tacky? I'm cheap, so I think it's cute. I know it's early, but I just wanted to see how it would look put together. I don't plan to put it out until after Thanksgiving.

It's simple, but I like it. We have a dollar general by us and I've already scoped out their xmas section and see a few things I would like to buy for decor.

R: I was sick of getting the wrong type of light bulb for this lamp I have... so I bought a ton of similar ones and finally got the right one.
AW: Some older lady handed me a $10 Starbucks giftcard at Target, and said that she just wanted to tell me I was doing a good job because my kids were so well-behaved. I stared at her, and then cried. Lol.
V: I have to return a shit-ton of light bulbs tomorrow.

AW I have lost 5 pounds in the last month. I have 20 pounds that I've hung onto since dd has been born. I never really put any effort into losing weight because I was very tiny as a teenager and had no self control when it came to food but once I set my mind to it the pounds just started melting away.
Dizzy, if you aren't eating peanut butter with a spoon sometimes, then you're doing it wrong!
And I was super crampy yesterday and worried AF was coming back. She luckily hadn't yet. But it's been since July 2012. It's going to be epic when she comes, and not in a good way.
R: I keep reading littlebonnetlover as littlebonerlover
AW: I maned up and went to power yoga this morning. I don't know why I let yoga intimidate me.
AW 2: I have a perfect buzz right now. I need to the fight the urge to keep drinking and ruin it.
R: I was sick of getting the wrong type of light bulb for this lamp I have... so I bought a ton of similar ones and finally got the right one.

You are amazing. You are so calm and rational and your kids are the best.

I think it's so nice when people do stuff like that. I wonder if she carries one around for those situations.
Here's mine:
Vent: IL drama has reached a whole new level. We will be sending them a large sum of money now and a smaller amount monthly for the foreseeable future. This will probably Impact how much of a down payment we can make when we buy a house and we may have to adjust our other savings.
AW: I sit in DD's room while she goes to sleep and sometimes she will get up and come over to me so I will hold her, usually when she is really sleepy before she falls asleep. While I would prefer not to have to sit in here ever night, I love those moments.
Random: I really want a mojito later and really hope we have the stuff for it.
