I'll bet everyone's outside right now - the weather is frickin' gorgeous
My windows are open. My cats are soaking up the sun and sniffing the breezes. I'm studying, writing, watching Manchester City v Tottenham, and messing around on GBCN. A nap is starting to feel like a wonderful idea.
It's a good day.
But I'm hungry, and have no idea what to eat. We're making this for dinner tonight (adding sausage and using kale instead of chard). I'm looking forward to it so much nothing else sounds appetizing. FWP?

Umm, it is 52 and raining here. So not enjoying the weather, lol. But I did go to the market and indulged in the BEST almond croissant from this amazing bakery. Now I'm eating leftover Indian food. Then BF is coming over and we are going to get apple cider and fry cakes. This is a pretty epic food day!
We went to Ikea this morning to get another round of shelves, etc so we can get a little more organized. We had a yummy lunch and h and I are listening to A chirping about in her bed. She's supposed to be sleeping.
Tonight we're going to get set up for her birthday. Which means putting together her tricycle and wrapping a few other toys, then picking up pink balloons, flowers and cupcakes.
I just woke up from a vicodin induced nap. I have been having issues with my jaw and it making this clicking noise. Well this AM I than a nice big yawn and it is like my jaw locked and then popped into place. It hurt like hell.
it definitely feels better after the nap and pill. I am hoping it was just a freak thing and not a sign of something bigger.
It is beautiful here today. I'm about to head to a coffee shop for delicious cappuccino and to read. Wedding guy is working right now, not sure what time he'll be done.
We got into an argument last night about language and it ended with us both feeling like we were banging or heads against brick walls. I couldn't get him to understand the impact on women (and society) of using the term pussy as an insult to men because to him that's not how he means it and he doesn't think of women as lesser. Fun impasse.
Yikes! How scary spindle92. I also hope it's not something serious. Have you been evaluated for TMJ?
Several years ago my dentist and I did discuss TMJ because I was having some soreness in my jaw but it was discovered that I grind my teeth really bad at night so I have a sexy retainer for that. So not sure what this is all about.
motzie, I thought of you last night because I got Indian take out from your fav place here.
ETA: I cannot believe your daughter is old enough to ride a tricycle!
Yummmmmm!
We'll see if she can actually ride the trike. It's just one of those little plastic ones, but ever since she found the bike helmet my sister passed down to us she's been all about riding a bike.
I'm going to c&p a little story from yesterday. If anything doesn't make sense, feel free to ask.
I got a call from the doctor this morning. We had just gotten out of the shower and were about to get dressed and head out. The phone rang and I stared at it, not wanting to answer for fear they would tell me that neither embryo made it to day three and not to bother coming in. Deep breaths.
I answer and the doctor tells me that our two little embryos are doing great. In fact, they would like to push us from a 3dt to a 5dt, giving them a little more time to develop and potentially allowing one to shine if we preferred to transfer only one. She did mention the risk that they won't both make it to day 5, but also said she is not expecting that to be the case at this point. And, of course, if it doesn't make it in the lab, it likely wouldn't make it in the ute either.
So, we are not transferring today. It will be on Monday, which Brad is grumbling about because he has important meetings and blah, blah, blah, but priorities! Of course I am constantly second guessing, but this is a good thing.
Muddled That is great your doc is confident enough to wait until Monday. I imagine it's nerve wracking but hopefully will pay off.
But also, you're saying there could be muddled twins?!?!?
This is not the plan.
tiramisu, this is good news. They usually do a 3 day xfer by default with 2 because (especially at my age) there is no need to pare them down any further. It is recommended to transfer 2 anyhow because both are not expected to make it. The fact that we will have more info to work with is always positive.

I've gotten into conversations like this with H, and like you we both end up feeling like we're just banging our heads on the wall. And we have had this exact argument about the term pussy. I got frustrated when I felt like I was communicating clearly but obviously not getting my point across. H got angry/hurt because he thought I was calling him out for being a misogynist (and like WG, he doesn't see the term as an insult to women).
Every now and then he'll call someone on TV a pussy, and I'll make a comment along the lines of "I think that gives him too much credit." And he'll AGREE with me! He's used it less and less (at least in my hearing), which I'm happy about even if he didn't get the point I was trying to make about the term's impact on women. We've never resolved the impasse, but I've had to pick my battles more carefully lately.
