I would love to get some feedback. There is a nearby Gymboree with classes and I am wondering if they would be worth checking out. My DS is 19 mo and we have been doing kindermusik since he was 5 mo. He seems to enjoy the classes and I like for him to be around other kids since he's an only child and we don't have much extended family. He also gets to play at the gym childcare too a few times per week. Just looking to add something else to the rotation, so if you have done Gymboree, feedback regarding cost, types of classes and whether you and LO liked them is appreciated Ty!
We have done Little Gym but not Gymboree. It's pretty expensive but definitely worth looking into. Most places offer a free trial class and look for a groupon type deal.

I know people who have loved it but the cost was too high for us. We do free storytime at the library and have done park district lessons and now gymnastics. I'm very pro classes and my daughter got something out of them from a very young age.

We did it up until last January when Reese got sick. She LOVED it and begged to go to Gymboree every Saturday morning. We had the 9:30 class, so it was perfect---by that time she was going stir crazy and wanted to head out.

I can't wait to start we will begin when he starts crawling. It is $78 a month here for open gym once a week and classes once a week. It is expensive but breaks down to $10 a time so that's not too bad.
we went to a free class and DD liked it. It was very similar to story time at our library so I chose to do that instead. The cost was also to high for us.

Thanks for mentioning groupon, I will def look for one. I also just signed up for Gymboree rewards and got a 20 off coupon. Sounds like something I would want to try
Thanks for all the replies, ladies. He seems like he is *almost* ready for storytime so I could try that as well. I like for us to keep busy and have activities every week for sanity
Try Groupon, Living Social or Amazon Local for Gymboree discounts.
We didn't do the classes (I didn't care for them), but we did get a pass for 4 months of unlimited open play for about $250. It was the perfect thing for DS to do to get out some energy during those cold January and February months.
At that age DD loved story time. She got out of it last year. She was 2 1/2 and was bored of toddler story time and would create issues like running out of the room or playing with the other babies there. When it's too much of a hassle I usually stop the activity because I figure that she is over it. Right now we are doing preschool and dance. I like to keep mine busy too otherwise she gets crazy.
I didn't want to pay that much while dd was so young. We did a mommy and me gymnastics class through a local city recreation center. It was $10 a week in nine week sessions. It was only thirty minutes though. It worked out nicely for us since it was right next to a park. We would go to the class then have a picnic at the park before coming home for nap time.
