Remember at the blood trough (Last Epi) Gareth was going to stab Bob in the eye if Rick didn't tell him what was in his buried stash? So that's what was being referenced.
Do you think we're supposed to be making some connection between Father Gabriel and the cross on the back of the vehicle that took Beth (the one Daryl and Carol are now chasing)?
Ughhhh that was disturbing. I mean, the whole show is disturbing but that was....special. Poor Bob. I don't care for his character much, but that was brutal.
Even though Gareth is a fucked up twisted person, I enjoy when his character is on screen. The actor is very charismatic.
I'm with you guys, I was 100% sure he had been bit. Maybe he was and they just didn't reveal it yet? I hope so; that would be nice karmic justice.
I really enjoy the closeness between Carol and Daryl. I don't think there will be anything romantic there, but it's obvious that they really love each other.
Why do some of you think bob used to be part if terminus? He would have never gone back there if he had been.
That's a good point, but how Gareth was talking to him it sounded like he had come from there. Or if not there, Gareth's group pre-terminus. Or pre bad terminus.
OK, sorry to bump, but I finally got to watch the ep last night.
Q: why do some of you think it would matter to Gareth if Bob was bit? Everyone is infected anyway; it's not like being bit gives him extra zombie cooties or would make his leg meat even more rank.
The end of the episode was killing me with tension. I just kept saying "WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUTSIDE, DUMMIES?!"
And I still don't believe that Carol would have taken Tyreese's word for it that that cabin guy was dead. WTF, Tyreese?!
Maybe there's a difference between the latent zombie virus and the active virus from a bite? I'm not sure that Bob was bit, though. I mean, I thought so at first, and I expected when he was outside that he would expose it so the audience would know, but he never did. This show always leaves me with more questions than answers!
Also, in the talking dead they said that Tyreese thought that he had killed the guy, so honest mistake, I guess?
I finally watched last night, too. I knew Bob was in trouble when he and Sasha were playing their cutesy little game. Was he bitten though? Did he always have that limp? I assumed he'd been bitten - but maybe by cutting off his leg they actually saved him (like with Herschel)? I don't think he would've survived the amputation otherwise.
I think people are wondering if it matters if the hunters ate infected "meat" (gag) b/c would that be the same as being bitten and kill you/turn you. At least that's what I was wondering.
Here's a spoiler-y link for those dying to get a glimpse of Beth. Looks to be the last scene of the next episode. Gimple said they'd be screwing with time this season, so I'm guessing this is a lead in to her bottle episode the following week.

Tyreese is built like a granite slab. How does he not kill someone he's trying to kill?

What I'm hoping for, if Bob was bit and the meat is infected, is that it will make them really sick killing them that way. They deserve to suffer a slow and painful death.
He was at the prison. I think they found him after they took down Woodbury, but I'm not sure. He wasn't part of Woodbury.
Ok, yes! I remembered him being around for a while. So, why do people think he had something to do with Terminus?
This is what I'm confused about as well. He made it clear he didn't want to go to Terminus, right? He wanted to go to Washington but went to Terminus because Sasha was looking for Tyrese and Maggie for Glenn. I just can't see him walking into Terminus if he knew that they were eating people. He surely would have spoken up and they would have tried to, at least, enter the way Rick and crew did.

I think because he said he was a member of 2 groups before the prison? But he also said that everyone in those groups is dead.
I don't think he had anything to do with Terminus except that he went there with the rest of the group. If he had been there before wouldn't he have warned everyone?

Off topic: I love your sig, lol. Are you from La? I'm from/in Nola.
Thanks! Yes, I'm from/in BR. My husband is from Nola.
I don't think he was bit. I can see how it would seem so. I did watch The Talking Dead. Nothing was mentioned about a bite. That would have been discussed. I also think he was never a part of Terminus. He would never have gone back.
I thought he had been scratched or something and I thought it was more or less validated when he smooched whatsherface and then ran out to cry.
That's what I thought, but others disagreed.
I am right there with you. I think all my comments on the matter were made before we knew he was being eaten (the first was before he got snatched). Your eta makes complete sense to me. Either way, I won't miss him.

I really think we are going to find out that he was bitten in the first 45 seconds of next week's episode. I won't miss him either but this makes for one hell of a storyline!!

Unless he was with Terminus either before or during the takeover.
Like maybe he got out during the takeover thinking everyone was dead?
But I agree you'd think he would have piped up at some point.
