So it looks like H will be going to China for a couple weeks, leaving 11/10. I'm fine with handling David alone and all that but damn! We're going to miss him soooo much. I thought four days was hard, two weeks is going to SUCK. He will be home in time for Thanksgiving, though.
I heard a strange sound outside right before we put M to bed, and said "what the fuck was that?" And then she repeated it...."mommy, what the fuck was that?" Lol whoops.
I did the minimal amount of work to be productive today. Sorted through paperwork, paid bills, and did laundry. H comes home Friday, I can't wait to see him. It's been a few years since we've spent a couple of weeks apart.
I hope the weather warms up enough to go to the pumpkin patch next weekend. We were supposed to go this weekend, but his dispatcher couldn't find him a load home.

I am moving in a month literally right down the street in a month and a half. I don't want to move again, but it was an offer that I couldn't refuse. Same amenities, and finishes, but a bit smaller.
I am so excited that I got to order lime crime's babette and coquette. It is always sold out, but I got it last night!!!

H lived in China for a while, but never made it there. He's heard awesome things, though. From all accounts, it's really great.
I know you'll miss him, though. (heart)
Oh, that's good to hear. Neither of us have made if farther than Europe. He's excited and I'm kind of jealous, but I will miss him. I'm glad he's at least going somewhere more exciting than Scottsdale (no offense to Arizona, H said the restaurants there are really good).

I WISH! We talked about it but it would be and extra $2,500 and pulling David out of K for two weeks. I just can't justify the $$ AND pulling David out of school. If this was the summer, we'd totally do it.

Or maybe you could go for one week and leave David with family?
H suggested this as well but honestly, I couldn't be away from David for that long, and to be so far away. I have issues. I've talked about it before on here that it's hard for me to leave him even for a night. I'm *really* working on it, but there's no way I'd travel to China without him. I'd love for all of us to go, though.

I start my new job tomorrow and for the first time since 2005, I will not be dealing with medical claims. It's so weird to think about. And also so amazing because I am reeeeeeeally sick of HCFAs and UBs.

I totally understand this. It would be awesome if you all could go!!
Our pastor preached a couple of weeks ago about whining and I really took a step back and thought about how much I whine on a daily basis. I've been making a conscious effort not to complain as much and I think I'm happier for it.

I think one of DH's friends from work is a prepper. DH and he trade errands for each other, and he will occasionally give DH something that he and his wife have canned. Today he came over for a while, and gave DH a jar of Taco soup. We decided to have it for dinner tonight, because I waited too long to start the dinner I wanted to make. Anyway, the soup was pretty bland, and most of the other stuff he's given us has been bland. I can add spices and stuff to it, no problem, but I'm wondering if seasoning doesn't work in canning.

It's Sunday night and I already feel burnt out on work for the week.
I tried a new sparkling water because I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to my tiny Perrier cans. I drink fizzy water instead of soda now, so I go through a lot of it. The Simply Balance citrus stuff is great, but I've already had three cans since buying it this afternoon. Which doesn't really get me to "cheaper", lol.
The meds are kicking DH's arse and it sucks on so many levels. I hate seeing him like this and I hate being Mom, Dad and Caregiver all in one- oh and keeping a positive or light attitude with the kids. We both are hoping that after a few days his body will adjust. If it doesn't, we will talk and see what the plan of attack will be.
With all of that crap being said, it was a pretty good weekend. Our family is supportive and helpful. We watched Despicable Me with the girls last night, funny movie! Today, the girls and I made 1.5 scarecrows. I posted photos earlier and we didn't get around to stuffing one of them.

Sodastream! Seriously, DH and I use the hell out of ours.
