I send a lot of iphone pics to Walgreens and think they come out a little blurry. I should try another place and see if it's walgreens or my phone.
I like the photo albums they sell at Kohls. They are a square and have room for two photos to a page, plus room for a caption/description. They're usually pretty cheap, too.
When I was pregnant a friend of mine said to be sure to take pictures of me while pregnant and to create actual photo albums. She said her kids will sit there for a long time, looking over their wedding album, and albums from when they were babies, etc. The kids know everyone in the book!
Shutterfly seems to cut off the tops of my regular 4x6 photos unless I manually crop each one. Our photographer friend told me mpix doesn't do this, so I'll probably try that instead.
Mpix is by far the best I've used. I haven't personally printed from Costco, but have used Shutterfly, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. and haven't been thrilled with any of them.
There are several bloggers who have reviewed each of the printing places and compared them side by side. Mpix is usually the winner. I'll see if I can find what I'm talking about.
