My sister has this above her bed and her couch in her apartment and she has an interior design degree and is the pickiest person on the face of the earth.
I have a large landscape lithograph behind my bed. It's one of DH's favorite artists; I'm not as large a fan. It works. I also have wall mounted reading lamps of either side of the bed which is really hotel decor.
I think you're OK so long as you don't have a coffee maker, glasses in little baggies and a Gideon Bible.
I really like that look actually. I'm very much a one or two big things per wall and be done with it look.
As long as they aren't random nature scenes of 2 guys in a boat to nowhere or a lonely forest of trees with a scratchy floral bedspread you're probably good.

There's a lonely forest over my bed She was a local artist dammit.
LOL. It's okay. Let me rephrase is the entire nature scene done in peach/coral/pink combos not seen in nature? If not, you're good.

Well...it's all orangey. Very sunset-y. It's OK if it's hotel-y. DH lurves it (guess who picked it?) and it was from a friend's gallery that we wanted to support. My bedding is most definitely not scratchy, so there's that
I'm sure it's A-ok. You have good style. You love it, hang it up.
I'm sure your room doesn't give a hotel vibe at all @juno. I'm slightly concerned about it in my situation since it's a guest room that it could lean towards hotel looking since there's not much in there. Oh wait, there's boxes of junk in there! No one will feel confused about where they are staying. So that's great..
