I am about 2/3 through a book called California and I am not sure how I feel about it. It's not like grab you by the throat exciting and it moves super slow, but is just interesting enough that I can't give up on it.
Have you seen the movie yet? Let me know what you think of it. I went to see the movie and then realized it was a book afterwards. Now I'm not so sure that I want to read the book though. It had a frustrating end!
I've been trying to work my way through GoT 5 but I constantly get bored and pick up easier and more relaxing books to read. I read the If I Stay and Where She Went books after seeing the movie.
I'm reading a really old favorite of mine, called Gaal the Conquerer, that I haven't read in about 10 years or so. Hopefully it's as good as I remember.

No I'm reading the book first. I want to see the movie but not till I'm done with the book.

I started Dark Life, didn't like it. Now I have One Came Home sitting on my shelf. Right next to a sleep training book. I've read neither, I'm too tired
I just started reading the Outlander series, finished book one and am a little ways into book two (Dragonfly in Amber). So far I definitely liked book one better, we'll see if book two picks up...
Before that I read Gone Girl which I really liked. Haven't seen the movie yet though.
I am supposed to be reading The Paris Wife for my book club, but I have only downloaded it to my kindle thus far. ? Oops. I am 2/3 through Gone Girl and need to finish it so I can go see the movie.
I personally was disappointed with Gone Girl. It was sooo hyped up but then I finally got my hands on it and had the plot all figured out 2 chapters in.
The Best of Me. Just started it and so far it's good. Looking forward to seeing the movie after I'm done reading it. I also have gone girl to read next and then seeing the movie.
School stuff. :/ I was reading A Discovery of Witches because people in my BMB are crazy about it but I didn't get super far before I had to start school and now I don't have a lot of time for pleasure reading.
That didn't stop me from buying like six novels at the thrift store today. Including Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Keep with Book 2!! It was my favorite out of the books I have read. (I stalled out halfway through Book 5).

I agree. Though I didn't find most of it that bad, when I read the ending I wanted to throw it out the window.

I can't read more than one book at once, they start to blend together for me. As I said before I'm reading The Mistress of the Art of Death, which I can return because I've read it before, I needed a filler. Now the library emailed me and The Devlin Diaries and Daughters of Smoke and Bone are both available for download and I don't know which one to read.
