Rec yours? I have a old black and white summer infant one...it has so much static. I am not wanting to spend a mini fortune since I can here the baby from my room. Thanks in advance.
I bought the infant optics one off Amazon since they are so much cheaper. I don't love it, but it does the job. I do notice that sometimes it messes with my wi-fi. I have a summer infant one with DS1 and like it much better, but it was a shower gift and I wasn't willing to spend that kind of $$ again.
Foscam. You can turn the sound on/off, it has a mic, and you can set it up to access from outside the home. We've never had a problem with it & have been using it for 10 months (after our Summer Infant bit the dust).

I have the same one for the same reason. We haven't had any problems with our wi-fi (and I think changing wi-fi channels is supposed to help with that). It's functional and much less expensive than other video monitors, though it doesn't pan or zoom. Overall I'm happy with it.
@missy1 she is much better. We where in the nicu for nearly two weeks. Today is my first solo day since my mom was here last week. Which is kinda odd nice but the reality of having a newborn again is somewhat challenging.
Thanks for all the recs ladies. I am still trying to convince DH how necessary it is.
We have a foscam but I can't remember the model number at the moment - 8910 maybe? We're able to watch from our phones and turn on background audio if we want. I really like it.

we use a drop cam which is awesome because it works on our iphones and ipad with an app. I love not having another thing to carry around since I always have my phone anyway. We've had ours for 20 months and it's still working great. I'm going to buy another for baby #2. It was also a cinch to connect, took less than 5 minutes.
