Sorry I'm so tardy with this today! I was off last Th & Fr from work and catching up plus an ob appt has me ten shades of crazy today
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? 4. What is one of your favorite books?
1. How far along are you this week? 26w5d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Belly is very pronounced, people think I'm much further along than I am. That's fine, but let's quit it with the wow'd look of "yes I'm still 3 months out here". 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Showers are still pending, but there will be 3, at least 1 is duck themed. 4. What is one of your favorite books? I really should read more.

1. How far along are you this week? 30 weeks!!! 3/4ths done!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Nothing this week. I just had an amazing weekend with my mat pics and shower back home. 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? This past one was not a surprise (lol - I had to basically organize all the details for our moms but I love that stuff). It was a Curious George theme, like our nursery. I have a much smaller shower coming up on November 2nd and I don't know if there is really a theme to it. I'm hands off on that shower. 4. What is one of your favorite books? To Kill A Mockingbird is my all-time. More recent loves are The Help, Ken Follett's Century Trilogy, and The Namesake.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Belly is very pronounced, people think I'm much further along than I am. That's fine, but let's quit it with the wow'd look of "yes I'm still 3 months out here".
At my shower my aunt, who has twins from IVF so she *gets* it, asked me twice if we were sure there weren't two in there. I was all sorts of wtf. I mean, 1) you KNOW we did IVF and you KNOW how involved doctors are with that procedure, 2) I may be overweight but dammit I lost 40 lbs prior to IVF and I've only gained 16 lbs with this pg, and 3) everyone else says I'm all baby so stfu. LOL (vent over)

1. How far along are you this week? --I'll be 39 weeks on Thursday.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? --I'm just tired today. Otherwise I've been feeling pretty well. I really wish I could just sit at home until the babe comes though.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? --No theme - just friends at breakfast/brunch with mimosas.
4. What is one of your favorite books? --To Kill a Mockingbird

1. How far along are you this week? 23w 1 d
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We basically finished the nursery this weekend!! All we have left to do is order the bookcase that matches the furniture and H needs to finish spraypainting a small table I'm putting near the rocker/recliner. I'm so excited!! I still need to take some pics.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? It's not a surprise. My mom wants it to be "exactly what you want", lol, so she has picked my brain quite a bit. It's Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit themed like our nursery.
4. What is one of your favorite books? I finally read the Harry Potter series for the first time last year and loved it. I'll go with that.
1. How far along are you this week? 15w4d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We went down to Shenendoah over the weekend and hiked Old Rag - I was really nervous that it would be too hard for me pregnant (all the reviews online freaked me out and we'd never been before) but I was able to do it and we had so much fun! Camped that night, too. Also, I've told a few more friends about being pregnant and they have all been so sweet and excited about it. It has been so fun to tell people. 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Early days for shower thoughts for me still, though I know some of my friends back home want to throw me one. We talked about doing it while I was there over Christmas, but we aren't going to be there very long and I think it would be way too hectic to try to do that the same week as Christmas, so I think I'm going to use some miles I have saved up and fly home in January or the very beginning of February instead. 4. What is one of your favorite books? A longtime favorite of mine is The Chosen. This year some that I've read and loved have been The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Wonder, and The Beginner's Goodbye (I love Anne Tyler.)
1. 32w6d 2. Got a bunch of stuff washed and put away this weekend. Basically we just have decorative stuff left to do for the nursery, but I am feeling much more prepared! 3. It was pretty theme-less but the decor matched the invite from Minted:
I loved it. It is pretty "me." 4. I should read more too... I used to get made fun of in middle school because I couldn't stop reading even for class but nowadays I do not have the attention span for it. I like series the best.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Not too much going on right now. Feeling more movement. Anxiously awaiting the anatomy scan in 2 weeks.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? None for this pregnancy (so if there is one it will be a surprise), but for #1 I had two family/friend showers that didn't have a theme and weren't a surprise. I had one at work that didn't have a theme and was a surprise. I wasn't expecting it at all.
4. What is one of your favorite books? For kids or adults? I loved A Separate Peace in high school and still enjoy it.

1. How far along are you this week? 22 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Feeling more and more movement! Loving it! ETA: he was kicking or something while writing this, haha. He's fairly active I think!
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? No shower yet, so I have no idea. I have a friend planning one in Jan and my mom (and sister and aunt) wants to do one mid Feb. Umm.. that's so late lol. Trying to talk her into Jan at least!
4. What is one of your favorite books? I liked The Hobbit. I'm also halfway through the 2nd GoT book and they are good so far!

1. How far along are you this week? 10w1d - double digits!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? since Saturday my symptoms have been pretty much gone other than sore boobs and constant peeing. No more nausea and being tired beyond belief. I feel like a normal person today even though I didn't sleep well last night. This is both a relief and making me nervous (of course). I'll be glad when I get to see the little nugget again next week.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? no idea! I know my sister has already been pinning a lot of girl shower ideas, think she has a preference? It won't be a surprise though.
4. What is one of your favorite books? The Stand by Stephen King.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Belly is very pronounced, people think I'm much further along than I am. That's fine, but let's quit it with the wow'd look of "yes I'm still 3 months out here".

I've gained a bit more than I 'should', but I'm also still training so some is muscle. I also just refuse to be hungry, so I eat when I am hungry. I eat good food, rarely junk, but it's still food.

26 weeks, counting this as my last week in the second tri. especially since I won't go past 38 weeks. knowing that is just 12 weeks from now is kinda eye opening. Especially considering linz went at 33 weeks (which is even sooner!) and the holidays are coming and November and December fly by as it is. My next OB appt is Wednesday morning. Nursery is coming together. I have both cribs now, and am half way through the mods to the curtains I bought. Funny how half of a curtain project is all I can handle at once. My pelvic pain is so annoying, and was really bad yesterday night. My shower theme is avoid having a shower this is our second pregnancy, and between the ILs random family drama that popped up and my sisters insistence on "everyone" wanting me to have a shower ended up being her, my aunt and two of my sisters friends I think it is safe for me to just go buy what we NEED before these two arrive and call it a day. Questions like this make me forget the title of every book I have ever read.

1. How far along are you this week? 30 weeks tomorrow - only 7 to go! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? AW - This pregnancy has been so great recently - I am thrilled none of the bad stuff came about! And - I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight this week! Vents - People can't decide if I'm huge or tiny. I hear so many comments about both. Bleh. I've never had body image issues, until this pregnancy. Random - The final event I run was this past weekend. I am thrilled! Now I just have to finish some random things and the only thing left this year is having a baby! 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Oranges, blues and lime greens - just like the nursery. My mom and MIL threw it, but my mom was really sick the entire month before and my MIL is kind of a flake, so I had WAY more input than originally planned. It was fine though - I like planning things! 4. What is one of your favorite books? Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Officially past viability, which is a little bit of a relief. Feeling pretty good, doing ALL THE NESTING in the nursery lately. My AW is that I assembled the entire 8 drawer IKEA Hemnes dresser by myself with no help from H (except with the heavy lifting).
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? No showers this time.
4. What is one of your favorite books? I re-read Little Women every year.
1. How far along are you this week? 39 weeks tomorrow!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'm at the very uncomfortable stage in my pregnancy (the vent thread this weekend really helped me to get out my whining and was very cathartic!). I'm glad I'm finally losing my mucous plug and am hoping things are progressing. I don't have an appointment until Thursday morning. While I'm waiting for things to get going I'm trying to enjoy the last days of unrushed mornings and spending time with my daughter alone and (mostly) awake I'm nervous about how the transition from one child to two is going to be and how she's going to adjust.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? It was a nautical theme and not a surprise. My mom really wanted to throw me one and I just asked that it be small since this is our second child. It was lovely (even if it was crazy hot) and I had a great time!
4. What is one of your favorite books? Jane Eyre is my favorite book, but Pride and Prejudice is the book that got me interested in reading for pleasure. I was in middle school when I discovered it in the school library and I've been an avid reader since then.
2. Ultrasound on Wednesday, I can't wait! I am getting slightl tired of everyone at work telling me I have a month left, tops. Trust me, I feel gigantic and tired but at the same time uh, there are two, and I want them to stay in!
3. No shower this time around but with DD there wasn't really a theme. My mom still had a couple decorations from her shower with me and used those, but other than that it was just welcome baby.
1. How far along are you this week? 12w1d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Tomorrow is our NT scan, looking forward to seeing her again. Yes, her! Found out on Thursday from MaterniT21 it's a girl! 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Too early for shower stuff. 4. What is one of your favorite books? I should read more, too.

1. How far along are you this week? 7 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Second ultrasound scheduled for Friday morning.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Nothing planned yet, although I discovered my BFF has created a shower themes board on Pinterest with some awesome ideas!
4. What is one of your favorite books? I can't think of any favorites right now...I'll have to get back on this.

1. How far along are you this week? 23w4d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Had my first middle of the night calf cramp last night. I jackknifed out of bed so fast DH also jumped up - for whatever reason he thought the house was on fire. 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Not sure. I know there will be 2? But am hands off with both. 4. What is one of your favorite books? I love Outlander. But also And the Band Played On.
My AW is that I assembled the entire 8 drawer IKEA Hemnes dresser by myself with no help from H (except with the heavy lifting).
That's impressive! My friend's H took two full days to put together the 8 drawer. My H is the handy one in our house so he did ours, but he said that it's not easy at all to do.

1. 16w tomorrow 2. I am officially in maternity clothes. The tops are still too big, but my regular ones are mostly too small. 3. I think I will be having a family/friends shower and a work shower. The work shower will likely be themeless, but I am helping with ideas on the other one and I'd love a book theme. I am obsessed with reading. 4. Choosing a favorite book is impossible. I love to read so much. But I have to say I adored the Anne of Green Gables series, so those are kind of my all-time favorites. I really liked 11/22/63, the Harry Potter books, The Help, Paper Towns, Still Alice, The Book Thief and a million more.
1. I thought I was 34 +4 but apparently I'm really 34 weeks +5.
2. I'm feeling kind of whiney. My pelvis is really achy and I'm sick of everyone commenting on my body. Yesterday a patient reached out to feel my belly and I totally dodged it. Another one told me she could tell it was a girl because I was "round." Really. Just stop.
3. My shower didn't have a theme. It wasn't a surprise. I had it around 28 weeks due to scheduling stuff and I'm so glad I did. I'm anxious to get everything done.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Looking forward to my U/S and OB appointment tomorrow to see if these babies have flipped and if we have a new game plan. Otherwise C/S is on the books for 2 weeks from today, eeek!
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Mine was not a surprise, the color scheme was aqua, grey and chevron which is similar to what we did in the nursery. It was mostly brunch and hanging out with good friends, not too themey.
4. What is one of your favorite books? The Night Circus
1. How far along are you this week? 8 weeks and 3 days 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Headaches, vomiting AND bleeding. OMG. 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? No shower 4. What is one of your favorite books? Sherlock Holmes
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week?
Mentioned in Monday randoms but was thrilled to find out I am GBS- this pregnancy and go ahead with planning for a home birth. Meeting with a midwife tomorrow morning so they can see my house and give me supplies list and such.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise?
No shower. This is my third and while someone offered I just didn't feel it was necessary/I don't like showers that celebrate me (didn't enjoy my baby or wedding/bridal showers).
4. What is one of your favorite books?
Shampoo Planet by Douglas Coupland was a big one for me. Read it when I was 14 and it made me want to be a writer. And I have read A Heart Breaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers multiple times.
