2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We put together the crib this weekend and the curtains should be here tomorrow. I need to figure out what the heck I want to put on the walls. I'm so bad at picking out art. H wants to try to make a bookshelf, so we'll see how that goes.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? We have my family's shower this weekend, and I don't think there is any kind of theme. H's family is throwing us one the weekend of Thanksgiving. I think they're going to try to use our nursery colors. We'll probably also have a small church shower.
4. What is one of your favorite books? I don't think I have one. I definitely should read more often.
1. How far along are you this week? 25+1 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'm starting to worry myself....my BP has been higher than normal over the past week and I've been messing with my grandmas machine while I'm here and it keeps creeping up. Usually my systolic is under 100 and the other day it was nearing 120. When I get back home I'm gonna make an appt and check my urine protein just in case. I can not afford to be put on bed rest. I am terrified of preeclampsia. Ugh. 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? Yesterday's was for sure a surprise! We have a co-ed shower next month but we don't know anything about it. 4. What is one of your favorite books? To Kill a Mockingbird
My AW is that I assembled the entire 8 drawer IKEA Hemnes dresser by myself with no help from H (except with the heavy lifting).
That's impressive! My friend's H took two full days to put together the 8 drawer. My H is the handy one in our house so he did ours, but he said that it's not easy at all to do.
Okay @brie ... I guess I'm going to take a stab at the 6 drawer Hemnes myself.
1. 35 weeks, 2 days 2. My pelvis hurts. I think we have everything in the house now that the baby will need for the first little while, so I am feeling more prepared! Still have to pick a name though. 3. My family shower back home did not have a theme, nor was it a surprise because we had to drive 14 hours to get there. My friends shower here was Harry Potter themed, and it was fabulous! 4. I love the Harry Potter books, but also so many others! I read every night before bed.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? AW - I have less than one month until I meet this baby and I can't wait! We have a few last minute things to do, but we are pretty much ready for this kid to arrive any time.
Vent - I'm still effing sick and felt even worse over the weekend I'm so sick of coughing all day long.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? It was based on the bedding we chose (Dwell Studio Owls) so lots of aqua, green, and light brown, chevron, and owls. My college BFF is super talented and made paper garland and canvases to decorate with. No it wasn't a surprise.
My work shower was a surprise though. The theme was boy, I guess? Lots of light blue, they decorated with blue ribbon and garland and tablecloths, "It's a boy" signs, little blue Powerade bottles, etc.
4. What is one of your favorite books? Heaven's Coast, by Mark Doty. It's a memoir of a man whose lover is dying of AIDS, and is incredibly poignant and well-written.

1. 35+1w
2. I'm ready for this kiddo. All I have left is to order my breast pump and pack my hospital bag. She can come any time 2 weeks from today. Let's go girl!
3. I had my sprinkle on Saturday. I didn't need any gear since we have all DS's stuff still so I got lots of adorable baby girl clothes and nursery decor. The theme was birds since that's her nursery decor. My BFF was amazing and put it together beautifully. It wasn't a surprise but Even my friends that couldn't come from out of town sent things. That was a surprise! They are so awesome.
4. Fav book is a tie. Either a Prayer for Owen Meaney or Les Miserables.
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? 4. What is one of your favorite books?
1. 34 weeks
2. I'm just tired. And uncomfortable. Baby is sitting really high right now, so I feel like I can't breathe and the heartburn is worse than ever. I'm also getting really tired of hearing how big I am from people.
3. My first shower was a coed "Beer and Baby BBQ". Fall and pumpkin decorations. My second shower is this weekend, and I don't know if there's a theme. The invites had safari animals on them. Neither were a surprise.
4. It's so hard to pick! A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is definitely one of my all-time favorites. I need to read it again...it's been a few years.

1. How far along are you this week? 17 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Nothing really. I really think I'm starting to feel movement, but only when I'm sitting or lying down and am really still... that or I have a lot of location specific gas LOL
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? No shower ideas yet.
4. What is one of your favorite books? I'm a Harry Potter girl. I love a lot of other books too, but HP is top of my list.
1. How far along are you this week? 31 weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Appt tomorrow. The first of my every two weeks appts! I also have so many things for the baby either already purchased or arriving this week. Ready to put the final touches on the nursery! 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? I have no idea what my shower theme is. Still have 4 weeks to go. My only request was cake from my favorite bakery, lol. 4. What is one of your favorite books? Absolute favorite is Pride and Prejudice. I also enjoy anything by Maeve Binchy.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? This is the first time in a long while that I've been concerned about baby so I'm thankful to have an OB appt in the morning.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? I haven't had a shower yet. I don't think my mom's will have a theme other than blue for boy and I have no idea about MIL's.
4. What is one of your favorite books? HP series. I miss the anticipation of its release every July.

1. How far along are you this week? 21w2d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? So happy I got a food report at a/s. Now hoping I pass by glucose test in 3 weeks (spilled sugar in my last urine sample but I had just drank a regular coke so hopefully that was it) 3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? No idea, I'm a weirdo who is very friendly and outgoing but is uncomfortable being the center of attention. Plus there's controversy in my group of friends right now (not with me, but a lot of this friend doesn't want to be around this friend and so on. I feel like I'm still in junior high). So I'm almost hoping my mom's friends will throw me one and just be done with it. It's weird but I honestly don't really care if I have one or not. 4. What is one of your favorite book? I don't read nearly like I should, I'm not even sure what the last book I read is.

Late to the party this week!
1 - 35 weeks 2 - Vent-my insurance is usually very good, but I found out this morning they aren't paying for my Rhogam shot! They paid the TDaP and Flu shot, no prob. But apparently Rhogam isn't required? I'm going to hit the deductible this year either way, but I thought that was lame. 3 - No themed shower. We ate food, drank mimosas, and opened presents. No themes, no games. 4 - Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Vent - I am dreading the glucose test tomorrow. AW - i am feeling pretty good, i swam and rode my bike this weekend. Hopefully i can keep it up for a few more weeks.
3. What is/was your shower theme? Was it a surprise? no shower - my people are spread out all over the country so it's not practical and i really don't like being the center of attention. I am sure i will have a small surprise one at work at some point.
4. What is one of your favorite books? For kids or adults? books i always go back to and re-read are Little Women and Gone with the Wind.

1. 18w 2. My Demi pants are fitting weird now that I have a legit bump. They fold up and don't really go above or below correctly. 3. No clue. I have two friends who have asked about a shower, but nothing is scheduled. I didn't know showers had themes. I don't think that's a thing here. 4. So many! The Poisonwood Bible is one I've gone back to many times.
