I know a lot of folks on this board don't like Behr paint, but I've had a pretty good experience with it. However, I got a sample of the new Behr Mar.quee and I am not a fan. (Sorry for the periods, it's a new product and I didn't want my SN popping up all over the internet).
I guess they tout its coverage, which I can see b/c my light beige sample completed covered my dark gray/blue walls with a swipe of a brush. But it's oddly thick and dries/gets tacky so quickly. It seems like it would be a nightmare to work with on a larger scale.
So just a PSA. It's like $40 a gallon too. Looks like I'll be going to Benjmain Moore for my kitchen paint. Incidentally, I tried the BM 2015 color of the year (Guilford Green) before I knew it was color of the year. It looked really gray and drab in my low light kitchen. So a PSA of sorts on that too.

Yikes - good to know. I've been surprised how much I like Emerald (which is also thick), but I think it's because it doesn't get tacky at all. It just goes from wet to dry, which is like a little miracle.
