3500 sq feet, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, plus an office and play room. 1600 unfinished in basement which will eventually be full bath 3 and bedroom 5. We have 2 kids and are done. Our house is perfect for us.
@awinter too funny! I'm relieved these 2 are the same sex so that it's easier for them to share a room because the nursery is the biggest room in the house.
Maybe when we're done paying H's entire salary to daycare we can finish the basement and gain some additional space
Our house is about 1800 Square feet and 3 bedrooms. We have 4 kids. 2 DD's in one room and 1 DS and 1 DD in the other. No plans on moving because our loan was modified into an interest rate that we could never get again. We plan on converting part of a 400 sq. foot patio into a homeschool room and small bathroom for my son's use. We think it is too much to ask of him to share a bathroom with 3 teenaged girls.

Just shy of 3000 sq ft. 4 bedrooms with a possible 5th if we rough in a closet.
1 kid, no plans for more. We bought this house knowing it was an ideal size and layout for us, but I'm not sure we would have purchased it if more kids had been in our plans. I wouldn't have wanted more sq footage, just a different layout.
1185sf, 3 beds 1.75 baths. Two adults, 2 toddlers and 1 dog.
It's enough. Especially since the boys are the same gender, the will continue to share a room. The house is front-loaded towards living space, but even then it's not a ton. We have ideas about pushing out the front of the house and/or building up, but probably not in the next 7-10 years. I would be surprised if we left this house, unless it was to build our own.
We did remodel the ~600sf patio, which gives us a lot more living space, and here in California we get at least 9 months out of it. Actually J and I took a nap out there on Christmas. Most of the other houses in our 'hood with our layout have added on in that space; we've pretty much done the same thing, but kept it open.
2100 sq. ft. 4 bed, 2.5 bath. It's a decent size for having 3 kids. If we had any more kids (God help me), I would want to move but we wouldn't. This is the long haul house
We are building our dream house right now and will be moving in about a month! (And then never moving again) It's bigger than we need but we love it. 4,700 SF plus unfinished basement. 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths. I am so ridiculously excited to get settled in the new place!
Eta - one child now, hope to have at least one more. Our dog passed away recently, but eventually we will probably get another dog.
