Can I ask a question? Mine is next week. Regarding the guessing of sex, how accurate is it at this stage?
How far along will you be when you have your scan? I had mine closer to 12 weeks, and from what I read it's pretty accurate at that point. Closer to the 11 week mark it's a bit less accurate.

Well I measured 13w 3d, and when I got home I looked online, and it said at 13 weeks it is 80% accurate. SO, we'll see. The tech seemed pretty confident, but said don't go buy anything blue yet!
My anatomy scan is not until 19 weeks (12/2) so I will have to wait it out for a while!
With DD, I had her NT at 11 weeks, and it was too soon to check, and the her AS at 16 weeks, and we could see "girl."

They may not even guess for you at the NT scan. Mine did not.
Mine also said she'd not guess. If it's a girl, it's impossible to tell, and if it's a boy, there's a chance the boybits aren't visible yet. So you can kinda guess maybe if it's a boy. I'd prefer more 'definitive' information myself.

I have heard it is easier to tell with a boy. It looked liek a 3rd leg - ha ha!
But it could technically be the cord, or it could be the female bits are swollen due to all of the estrogen. So, we'll see, I feel like we have a long wait in limbo.

That's what I'm saying. It's pretty much impossible to be sure it's a girl. It's more likely to be clear if it's a boy, but sometimes boybits aren't visible yet.
