Since I didn't weigh myself yesterday like I should have, I did this morning. I weighed 7lbs more than I thought I would. Yikes! Makes me glad we started eating better and exercising yesterday.
Jay wants me to make Kale soup tonight which was not on our weekly menu, which means we don't have any of the ingredients. Therefore, I told him if he wants it he has to go to the store and pick itup. I then gave him additional items for things I also needed that we didn't pick up

I am just in a really good place right now. Work, friends, and home are all going well. Wahoo!
Also, I am embarrassed to say that I am SO excited for DS. He has his first "school pictures" next Tuesday, and I am already planning what he will wear.

Eeeeek at the tattoo!
I've got it on my list to go to the polling place for early voting right after work, and I'm really hoping it doesn't take longer than an hour. I would really like to get that done and over with, but I also want to work out when I get home so I hope it doesn't take so long that I get home starving and can only think about food instead of exercise.
There is some guy at work who is one if the senior members on the team, as in been here longer than most. He just doesn't get it, and it's so irritating! I cringe Everytime I hear his chair move because he might need help. He got me and I have to go help him. It always takes so long, and I can't even hide my frustration. I feel bad, but at the same time... Wtf! How do you not get this!?
I had my appointment today. He did an xray and couldn't tell from that what is wrong. I'm having an MRI done on Thursday and should have a better answer. He thinks that my sciatica nerve is being compressed by my hips and spine. So once I know what is wrong, we'll go from there to figure out an action plan.
I hope they have an answer for you soon. I have ongoing chiropractor appointments thanks to occipital nerve and sciatic pain.

So frustrating! H always seems to end up in situations where people are given promotions even though they can barely perform half of their job.

I write thank you notes to donors who make a gift in memory of someone who has passed away. Today alone, I have had gifts in memory of four different people. Three of which were still directly linked to the University when they passed. It makes me sad to remember how many students we've lost in the past couple of years.

Ello, I'm so sorry about back! I hope they can fix it.
Here is another random. Lexi is totally a mommy's girl. She follows me everywhere and gets so excited when I sit down to play with her, it's freaking adorable!
This morning while I was in the shower, she made a little nest out of my pajamas! It's kind of nice. Dozer is old and grumpy and pretty much indifferent to me and hubby. I like having a little shadow! ;D

My dog is like that. She's always in my lap, snuggled up against me, following me around. She's my own little stalker, haha. I'm glad Lexi warmed up so nicely and now you have a little sidekick!
