Has anyone tried (and liked) something other than disposablepull-ups (i.e., something reusable / cloth) for a child who is PTed during the day but is still working on nights?
My almost-4-yr-old is getting really uncomfortable in pull-ups overnight We tried going straight to underwear for a couple weeks, but she wasn't ready for that.
I'm not trying to rush her staying dry at night (it'll happen when she's ready), but I do want to make her more comfortable. Wondering if there are any well-reviewed thicker underwear that aren't as irritating as pull-ups.

From when I researched this it didn't seem like there were any options that really worked. Could you do a pull up on over underwear? That way the soft part would be on her skin, but pee would be contained?
My kids at they age also started hating pull ups. But still needed them.
What we did was put them in undies and then take them potty when we went to bed around 10-11 and they were able to stay dry and not have to wear pull ups. They would barely wake up to go, but they would usually go.

You know, I've heard this from a few parents - isn't it scary to wake up your sleeping kid though?! lol. The beast slumbers...I feel like that is such dangerous territory. But at this age, I bet it would be fine.

Never thought of this - great idea!
Ha, hopefully it works out. I am not sure if it will still cause her to wake up, since it wouldn't be that absorbent on the first layer, but worth a try!

It wasn't really that scary. At that point they were in such a deep sleep that that barely woke up. Kept the lights off. Put them on the potty rubbed their back a little and whispered that it was okay to pee and the did and then got them back in bed. I don't think they ever fully woke up actually.

How much does your LO pee overnight? We used training pants from JC Trade that were pretty decent. I would have DS go to the bathroom before bed and when he got up and most nights he was dry or had very little pee in the pants.
I think if your LO pees a lot, they wouldn't work very well.
