I love mine. It has made my skin so much smoother and softer.
It has helped my breakouts (mostly limited to my chin). I will still get the occasional breakout but they are much smaller and last 2-3 days at most before disappearing AND without the dreaded red mark being left behind.
I use the cleansing head for Acne (the green one) which is very gentle and the gentle speed.
I agree with those who said a simpler routine is best. I alternate between the Neutrogena pink grapefruit cleanser and the St Ives apricot blemish control scrub. I use the Paula's Choice Resist retinol serum day/night, a primer for day, and PC Resist Daily Moisturizer day/night.
One thing I'll add on though is that diet was key for me. I did a Whole 30 between early Aug/early Sept and I haven't had a breakout since (even though I had resumed eating "non-compliant" foods).
For those of you that have them, where do you get your replacement brushes and how often do you replace them? I bought one after I had my first child thinking it would make my skin glorious and distract from all the baby fat I was sporting. I broke out for awhile, so my plan backfired, but after the purge I did love my skin.
I haven't used it in well over a year though because I need a new brush and am too cheap to spend $25 on a replacement.
If you DO buy one, make sure you buy it from an authorized retailer. I bought mine on Amazon and it stopped working within the warranty time frame, but Clarisonic wouldn't do anything for me because they said Amazon wasn't an authorized retailer and the warranty was void when you purchase from an unauthorized place.
For cystic acne, glycolic acid worked wonders for me. I like Mario Badescu stuff.
I was actually coming in here to recommend this line. I have cystic acne and this line seems to be making a difference.
I use the Orange Cleansing Soap to take off my make up and do a first wash, and then I use the Acne Facial Wash for a 2nd wash. I want to add the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser into the routine (you only use it 2x a week) and the Special Cucumber Lotion (toner).
They also have the Buffering Lotion, Drying Lotion, and Anti-Acne Serum, all of which have gotten rave reviews from other cystic acne sufferers. All of the products are really affordable, which I love!
I got one for free through a reward program at work. I'm so glad I didn't spend any real money on it. It didn't do anything to help my complexion, which to be fair is pretty good anyway. In fact, it actually made me have small breakouts every so often. My husband does continue to use it every once in a while but it hasn't helped his complexion either.

I tried the Mario Badescu line a few months ago, and it didn't do anything for me. How bogus is that?!?!
I ended up giving mine to my sister. No matter what I did, it caused breakouts on my chin. I thought it was just purging, but it never went away. I tried it several different times over a few years before I gave up. It was $$ and made the rest of my skin so soft, I really wanted it to work!
Right now I'm trying African black soap every other day. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it's helping though.
Same experience. It never seemed to improve my skin.

I have this, and I like it, but don't use it enough to notice a huge improvement...and the fact that I barely use it confirms my instinct not to invest all the money into a clarisonic

Last year on the Nordsteom anniversary sale they had a good deal, but this year they didn't have the delicate brush heads part of it, but basically you buy 3 and get 1 free. They only need replaced every 3 months, so I was set for a year. Otherwise i get the 2 packs which are cheaper than individual, and I try to use any discount I have available whether itnis through Ulta, Sephora, drugstore.com. My last set I got on a deal from Macy's. Like with feliway for my cats, I just stay on the look out for deals and buy when the price is right

I like mine, but I'm not a regular user. Once a month (or so) I'll diy a whole "facial" routine and use it to scrub off the clay mask- I love the way it massages and exfoliates, but I don't think my skin would be happy with that much scrubbing on the daily. I've never experienced the purge, thank god.
I've had mine about 6 months. I still breakout but I do feel like my skin is cleaner after using it and definitely softer. I started off using it twice a day and that was too much for my skin because it got really irritated. I now only do it at night and use the acne brush head which works better for me than the one it came with. Overall I'm happy with it but it's not in life changing territory for me.
