To prevent the between the eyebrows 11. I know I talk about this too much. But I am thinking this may be the next thing I save up for. So maybe I'm 70/30.
I was at a fundraiser auction last week and 200 units of Botox was one of the items in the silent portion. I was soooooooo close to bidding on it. I think it went for just $60! I don't know if that is a good deal, but it was really tempting.
If my postpartum hot flashes don't go away I might get it along my hair line when I hit the lottery because I'm tired of sweating like a whore in church all of the time.
I love it. My 11's really bothered me. It was the main thing I noticed when looking into the mirror. Now that area is flat. No one noticed (even my sister and H), but it is totally worth it to me. I've only had it twice, but I anticipate the maintenance will be $300, every 4-6 months. The appt takes about 15-20 mins.
I see nothing wrong with it, in theory. Like others have said, it depends on how often the upkeep is. I could handle like once every 5-10 yrs (if it weren't too $$$). I think it requires more maintenance than that, though.
I got it for migraines and it felt weird not being able to express myself with my forehead, but it wore off within three months, so I say give it a try if you want.
I really want to do this. H is horrified and is totally against it, but I hate my 11s.
So was H. He was against it for so long. When we came into some unexpected money, well, we spent it how we wanted, lol. He was pleasantly surprised. I think people notice the Botox that is noticeably Botox. The people that do it subtly just look better. It's like make-up, IMO; a little can look really good but too much looks horrible.

I haven't done it since I got pregnant so it's been about 3 years since I had Botox. I really miss it and think it was awesome. I did it for my 11s too and it made SUCH a difference. It looked natural and I still felt expressive.
My friend does it for her laughter lines around her eyes which were actually pretty pronounced. I thought it looked charming but she hated it. The Botox made a huge difference for her too and strangely it hasn't made her look frozen at all.
I don't think I'll have 11s for some time, but I am getting some wicked cracks under my eyes. Not easily fixed. I also have some annoying forehead lines forming-I could probably do well to get those knocked out in a couple of years.
I am bitter that so many people now get Botox that I'll eventually be forced into it just so I don't look decades older than everyone else. I have no desire to put something with "toxin" in its name into my face.
I totally want this. I've taken pictures to show how bad my 11s are. They are DEEP. And I am only 31! Ugh My h is horrified. But we are coming into some money in the next few months and I'm so doing this. I might just not tell him. Lol
