“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
I have it on good authority that Adam Levine is the douchiest douche of all times (work bff has met him multiple times, hit on by him multiple times, etc), so HELL NO.
I honestly feel like maroon 5 is punking us with their music. It is SO bad. Not like, 'it's not my type of music', but it's so terrible that I can't even envision how anyone could find something in it to enjoy.
Ok, so, ke$ha's music is also bad. Not my taste. But I can see what people might like about it. This doesn't happen with maroon 5. They are in the pure-wtf category.
I totally thought that with that "Payphone" song they had out a couple of years ago. I heard it on the radio and seriously thought it was a joke, like they were making fun of all lame cliches in songs.

I will say that Payphone is pretty bad. I like to pretend that that one doesn't exist. lol

I love me some Maroon 5. However, I kinda stick them in with my "I know this is craptastic, but I love it anyway" group, like kesha (no more dollar sign!) and current Britney.
If you think the Maps video is weird, check out the one for Animals.
It's fine. I like it more than their "Animals" song that's out now.
Honestly, though, I miss their old stuff. The "Songs about Jane" album was my favorite thing ever when it came out, and I still love it.
Songs about Jane is one of my favorite albums ever just because the songs just have a good flow to them. They are good for when you are cleaning, or on a long drive.
I think Maroon 5 is a mess now compared to what they used to be.
