Fresh off the presses, Walt Disney Animation has announced their newest animated feature. Set to be directed by John Musker and Ron Clements (The Little MermaidThe Princess and the Frogis set for a late 2016 release (probably Thanksgiving weekend). To quote the plot synopsis from the press release: “In the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania, Moana, a born navigator, sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.”
I hope it's good! Especially since Natalie will be at the age where she can be really excited about it.
Yea, I feel like this one will come out at the prime age for our 2012 kids! It sounds good and I'm sure they're trying to make sure it's as popular as Frozen.
That sounds so good! I like that she sounds like the heroine of the story. That is what drives me crazy about Frozen. Elsa is the one who all of the girls like, but she isn't the heroine. I wish the girls liked Anna, because she is a great character!

This drives me crazy too, we went to target looking at Halloween costumes and all the elsa dresses were gone, yet there are tons of Annas left. Everyone wants to be elsa.

I keep pushing Anna on Sydney as the character to like, but she keeps talking about Elsa.

This. We can take both girls. H went to the movies at 2.5 to see Winnie the Pooh which was only like 50mins. There has been nothing that I've been interested to take D to yet.

D embraces her role as Anna in relation to her sister claiming Elsa. She knows her place :-)
